Closed early without updating the hours on their website or on their automated phone message. Given that thoroughness, patient/customer centeredness, consistency and accuracy are key values of a safe and professional pharmacy, I would recommend against relying on this location
As a follow up, I went today to pick up my package. I asked why the hours on the website and on the phone system had not been updated if they were closing early. I spoke with Vik Bawa, whom I believe is a co-owner, who was extremely brusk and rude. He suggested, among other things, that: 1) I should have known that the pharmacy was closing early, even though both their phone and website said otherwise. 2) I was lucky to get my package at all, since they could have simply refused it, and it didn't matter that I had to make an unnecessary trip because I trusted the info hey had in two places was accurate and 3) That Purolator won't let them out of their contract even though they would like to get out, and so he does not feel any obligation to uphold the terms of the contract and do his best to make sure people can get their packages while under contract.
He said several times that it takes to long for them to update the times on their phone and website, although he yelled more when I asked how long it took. It seems to me that a long running business that needs to close early can and should figure out how to update their hours, especially for a planned early closure.
While I understand that back-ups at Canada post and the holiday season have meant a busy time for this business, it has also meant a busy time for many of their customers and patients. Yet they seem to be willing to inconvenience their customers and patients at this busy time rather than attend to the routine but vital business responsibility of making sure their hours are accurate.
Who knows what other information on their website is unreliable?

Pray your packages don’t get delivered here. This is the third time I’ve had a terrible experience with this location. They don’t try very hard to deliver a package, or let you pick it up. Even when I call and tell them I’m coming in to pick it up and to hold it for me an extra day they still returned it to sender! Terrible customer service.

A couple months back I was visiting Victoria with my friends and family and someone I knew was dealing with internal pain. Pourya was literally the best pharmacist I’ve ever met. He is an incredible listener and provided my friend with extremely detailed and informative advice, whilst providing multiple solutions and treatments. He cared so much about the situation that I was truly blown away by the service. This is the pharmacy you want to be going to.

I have nothing but good words to say about this pharmacy. Pourya always helps me with my prescriptions and my mother's prescriptions in an extremely timely manner and answers all of my questions. When my mom was in emergency and I brought in her rx afterwards, it was missing some information so Pourya called the hospital to track down that information so that it could be filled for her. This happened not only once, but twice.Right now I am going through a bit of a medical nightmare and they have gone above and beyond. Pourya helped me with information I needed for the special authority form, he got me in touch with a physician so that I could get a prescription I was in desperate need of and he has consistently been there to answer all of my questions about the whole process I am currently going through.Absolutely amazing customer service! Thank you Fort Royal Pharmacy!

Everyone I've dealt with at Fort Royal Pharmacy Hillside has been incredibly kind and helpful! They had my prescriptions transferred from another pharmacy, and filled in no time, after I discovered that the other pharmacy was going to take too long. They also went above and beyond to help me get a telephone appointment with a doctor when there was a problem with one of my prescriptions and the original doctor didn't send the new one before closing for the weekend. I can't recommend them enough! I will always go here now because of their great service!
