It’s a nice store but the people are beyond unfriendly. I’ve never been acknowledged and I just end up looking online

the customer service at this dynamite was a joke. i sat waiting at the cash desk with items in hand and not one but two employees who had very obviously seen me try stuff on etc. walked by me, i could see them look at me standing there waiting and they made no effort to help check me out. so i left my items on the counter and left :) shame

I just had to leave a review! The other day (Friday September 22nd) I went into dynamite in Mayfair mall. I didn’t end up buying anything but I just had such a lovely experience I wanted to make sure I shared! I believe her name was Lucy, she was so nice & helpful trying her best to help me find exactly what I needed, was very personable, and made it such a pleasant shopping experience. Even though the items I tried were all “almost but not quite” I was just so happy with the experience I had in the store thanks to the lady that helped me :) (they had so much cute stuff too I was just hunting for specific items) I hope her managers see this because she really is doing a great job!

I just had the worst shopping experience I've ever had at any store in my life. There were about 4 to 5 people on staff working yet no one greeted me, helped me, checked in on me on the change room, Etc. It was one of the most unprofessional settings I've ever seen, I do not understand how you can help customers by cranking the music and ignoring them. It's not a hard job to treat your customers with respect so they'll buy your items. I tried on several items and was going to make a purchase but due to my experience I did not and I will never return to this location again.

Was there today to buy a few things. Service was TERRIBLE. Was not greeted, went to the fitting room and she looked miserable, also didn’t greet me, finally comes over takes my items without speaking to me, I try to say hi how’s your day, she looks at me “name” lol I’m like sonya please.. continued not to check on me. I would rate their customer service way below standard.

The music is way too loud. Please don’t do this to your employees, it’s a psychological torture!!

This store has great selection but the staff are not very friendly or helpful, at least in my experiences.

The WORST experience I've had at a dynamite location ever. I recently moved from Kelowna, BC which also has a dynamite store that I shopped at frequently. Since moving to Victoria I have tried shopping at the mayfair location multiple times and each time I leave feeling some sort of negative emotions. For starters, the music is unbearably loud. The staff are ALWAYS rude, unhelpful and openly make it know they wish you weren't there. I feel like I'm in high school when I visit the Mayfair dynamite location quite honestly. A few times I have noticed the staff have been huddled up behind the cashier like a group of mean girls, gossiping and not doing a great job at hiding the fact it's usually about the customers and their appearances. I have heard stuff along the lines of "she should get her hair fixed before buying clothes that she won't even look good in". This makes shopping very stressful when it should be enjoyable. Today was the last straw. I headed over to dynamite to check out their Black Friday sales in a great mood and was met with an angry, blonde teenage girl at the door. I informed her I was heavily allergic to hand sanitizer (it makes my skin red and sometimes blister into bloody patches, which I had a doctors note to prove I cannot use it on my skin as the bloody rashes are more likely to spread covid than if I were to just not use it or wash my hands) and was told "I WON'T let you in, maybe you should just go home and shop online if it's such a big deal." HOW RUDE? I had a doctors note that she didn't even care to look at and I even offered to go wash my hands if given a provided space and was refused entry. Trust me, being allergic to hand sanitizer during a pandemic is not something I chose, and I trying to be as accommodating as possible. If I absolutely couldn't be let in I would have at least appreciated at least a logical explanation other than I won't let you in. For example, "I'm sorry I can't let you in sorry it's policy" would have completely understandable. The blonde girl I encountered at the door was beyond unprofessional and entitled. I will NEVER shop at this store again.

Good prices but the place is a mess.
Change rooms could use a clean. Floors are filthy. Hesitaded in taking my shoes off to try on clothing.
The CS ladies were plesant and helpful.
Cleanliness is an issue for sure.

Poor customer service and poor clothing quality. Return policy (even for faulty clothing) expires after 30 days. Basically, if after 30 days their product falls apart, they will not do anything about it.
