Really nice place with a nice service too. They have a wide variety of drinks at good prices but they also sell flowers. They also have an atm which is a plus.

Prices are consistently higher than other places and the service level is inconsistent. To compare, BC liquors in Fairfield plaza has reliably fantastic service, 3X the selection, and lower prices. It’s nice to have a “neighborhood option” but the up-charges would make more sense if there were a consistently stellar owner/operator present rather than often distracted and sometimes very smug young people.

Just tried to buy 4 single cans of beer for myself and my partner. We were accompanied by my 21 year old sibling who had no ID. The teller wouldn’t sell the beer to me (24) and my partner (25) despite us having multiple pieces of ID. The 21 year old was not purchasing liquor. It was absurd to be denied service. The teller was incredibly smug and rude and suggested we were trying to break the lease - which we were not.

I just had my day brightened by the cashier, she gifted me a bouquet of flowers that were not at their best, very kind of her!Store is clean, service is friendly.

Awesome selection, but it’s the staff that make this place great. Whether you’re a beer nerd, wine enthusiast or anything in between, they’ll meet you where you’re at! Great place to go if you’re looking for some of those niche hard to find products, especially items with limited release from the mainland. Even if you’re not into alcohol, they have a selection of craft cheese, meat, and non alcoholic options to accommodate everyone. They’re a great asset to the cook street village community.
