A treasure chest of goodies welcomes you when you pass though the doorway. It's a store one should not miss when in Victoria, if your a collector of any age. The Toy Museum is totally worth the visit and transforms a few times a year.

Every single time we go here the place is better than before. These guys know their toys, and are a solid group of dudes too. Our kids are welcomed warmly and the help they get is always personalized. Don't waste your money with chain stores and junk that is sold at standard toy stores. Pre-loved toys and collectibles are the way to go. Thanks for always being awesome Cherry Bomb!

Cherry Bomb Toys is a great place to visit to reminisce about your favourite toys, and to pick some up for yourself or as gifts. They also house the National Toy Museum. At the time of this review they are still housed on Broad Street but will soon be moving to their new spot on Yates between Douglas and Blanshard. Whether you are a local or a visitor this is one fun nostalgic stop worth taking on your trip downtown.

Fantastic store for buying antique or even somewhat recent retired toys. Amazing selection, especially for Lego! 10/10 for any Lego or old toy fans!

This place is a gem! It’s a treasure trove of memories and vintage toys. The owners and the team have all been great on the many times we have visited and they have sourced some really great pieces for our collections. The selection of toys is amazing and we can’t wait to see what the new premises will look like when it’s all finished. It’s well worth a visit to feel like a big kid again, or to reminisce in the toy museum. We will be back again soon!

We definitely hit the jackpot on this local find. Our minds and eyes were blown away by the treasures in this store. Brian made our trip so worthwhile and a son completely ecstatic with our purchases. We could spend hours here and will probably do so again before we return to the States. This is a real collector’s paradise. We got so sick of browsing run of the mill toy stores and this gave us newfound excitement. The mini museum upstairs was an added bonus. We highly recommend this business for all tourists and locals alike and hope you stay in business for many generations to come.

This store is the best stop to make shopping downtown Vic! We all had a blast checking out their rad collectibles and the staff even took the time to help us build our own lego characters! We will definitely re visit this store ?

It was like opening a core memory from my childhood. The museum was amazing to see. I hope to shop here again when it isn't so close to Christmas.

Cool little place. Was most impressed by the polite nature of the staff. We brought with us our spectrum young guy and he typically walks around humming and plugging his ears...this usually just gets stared at but the counter staff asked him if it was too loud for him :)Thanks guys. He really enjoyed the view!

The BEST new and vintage toy & collectables shop on the island. (Also possibly the best in the country !). Family owned and operated, the shop is also home to the National Toy Museum. The staff are all unbelievably friendly and awesome people. Everyone is welcome at Cherry Bomb. Highly recommend you visit this shop !

Amazing selection of retro toys from your childhood (even if that goes back 50 years ago). Lots of items you might not find elsewhere. First floor is like a museum of toys, except you can actually buy them. Price tags are very clearly presented for everything so you dont have to wonder or worry about asking the staff. However the staff are very helpful, friendly and happy to answer any questions or pull something out of the display for a closer look. Prices seem reasonable for many collectables, not like some places that seem to gouge. Upstairs is the Canadian Toy Museum, so that means even more toys, except these ones you can't buy. It's not all that big, but they pack a LOT into the space. Worth taking a look at, especially for toys from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Admission by donation. Next time I'm in Victoria again, I'll definitely be back.(More comic shops just kiddie-corner from this shop, plus an 80s/90s arcade nearby, so this is a great area for all things geeky and retro!)

A family run store with a vibe that all those that enter are like old friends. The staff are amazing and know the products really well (this is not easy with vintage items) I always go in when I visit Victoria and they all know me by name. Never have left without finding a gem I either wanted or did not know I needed. Also the museum on the top floor is a must see it will take you back in time with the history of toys. This is a must visit place for the toys, the memories and the staff.
