“Love this shop!!
The owner is so very friendly! So great to see a 'Mom n Pop' shop in the neighbourhood. All of the meats are beautifully cut, displayed and seasoned (all in house). The space is absolutely spotless, I truly have absolutely nothing negative to say about this little butcher shop! :)
They have just begun serving a delicious crispy chicken wrap too...you NEED to try this!!
Definitely drop into The Premium Butcher when you're passing by, or waiting for a bus in the hood.”

He expressed a fondness for sausages (something I rarely eat), so I went - of course - to the Red Barn Market on Oak Bay Avenue. I took a chance on the Octoberfest sausages. Wow - heavy score. My student's face lit up and he said he'd never tasted sausages that good in England! I hope they keep them in stock! The meat department at Red Barn is so helpful and the meat is always of a superior quality. That's why I always take advantage of the Barn Bucks offers!
