“A friendly, welcoming gallery filled with the excellent work of Canadian artists in painting, ceramics, glass, sculpture and jewellery. A favorite place of mine.”
“Fortune Gallery, honestly, is the most beautiful art space in Victoria. Really friendly vibes, right in chinatown. The owner is really friendly, down to earth, and has no pretention ?! It is a great place to showcase your art and even to rent for events. The staff are very helpful and make the process simple and easy. Would definitely recommend them for anything from showing your art to hosting work functions and weddings! They are pretty environmentally counsious as well, which is always plus!”
“Strange is the perfect word to describe this little shop. If your tastes are a little off centre and slightly macabre, you're sure to find something that interests you here. Definitely worth the visit!”
“Beautiful job. The gentleman who helped me explained the quality of the poster I wanted framed was practically newsprint and how he could help preserve it. He was realistic with time frames for getting the framing done. It came with bonus glass care instructions and made a perfect anniversary gift!”

5325 Cordova Bay Rd #109, Victoria“Very nice collection of small high-end gallery-type shops, sprinkled with food venues of the snacking variety. Clothing, gifts and fine art predominate here, making it a pleasant experience, year round.”
“A pretty shop on Oak Bay Avenue curating a wide survey of ceramics, wood, mixed media, jewelry and works of art by British Columbia artists. While on vacation we stopped by Side Street for a hostess gift. Jill is the sixth owner of this gallery and she provided a brief history of the gallery and we discovered we grew up in the same area in Southern Ontario. Prices suited for any budget but very competitive. We forgot to ask but we hope Side Street hosts events to showcase resident artist's works. Gift wrapping available upon request. On-street parking available andRoute 2/5/8 bus routes pass by the shop.”
“A beautiful and inviting space, as well as my favorite gallery in Victoria!
From the intentionally curated art to the inviting atmosphere, Joe & team sure know how to step up the gallery game!”
