Had a great experience at the Superstore in Vernon. The store was clean, well-stocked, and the customer service was excellent. It was nice to see local staff who were friendly, spoke English clearly, and made the whole shopping trip more enjoyable

Grocery store with variety and quality products, my kids like the fish area due to live crabs and lobsters in display. They also like them cooked!

You could spend hours in here! There is so much to look at. W picked up quite a few souvenirs from here. Prices are reasonable compared to what we’ve seen across Canada. Very clean friendly staff.
A lot of good deals that limit your purchase to 1 or 2 of a kind. Definitely keep your eyes open for all the deals !
Would shop here again!

Thank you to the assistant manager that was so helpful at customer service in Vernon Superstore today Also, when the cashier had trouble putting my order through. I did not get his name but he was younger short blond hair may have had a tattoo. He was courteous, respectful, professional, completely in control of the situation. Much appreciated!!

The new deli manager is an extremely rude young lady, she is detrimental to your company's image. I refuse to shop the deli if she is there.

I would like to request to management about monitoring the productivity of PC Express department in Vernon store. According to my experience it is one of the slowest I ever experience, I worked in this department in other location but as a customer at Vernon location I felt a huge difference, too much waiting outside for the pick up of order. I hope my review will help to address the actual problem in that department. Thanks

The stock at this store is pathetic! It’s not just one day, several days in a row basic items are missing from the shelves. Everywhere.
I came to buy a few jugs of fair life milk, shelves empty yet again.
Store manager should be ashamed of himself.

This location has been on a steady decline for a while.
Superstore has been my primary grocery supplier for decades. While I like the brands, large selection and generally good prices, at this particular location I find myself leaving disappointed more often. Items out of stock quite frequently, often the same ones habitually. Sale items often gone by noon. Bagged salads especially. Shelves covered with empty boxes. Produce quality/selection is inconsistent. Their fleet of carts are falling apart and often the cart return has lines blocking the driving lanes of the parking lot. They closed the second entrance/exit when covid hit, but never reopened and now has been permanently blocked off. The recently installed barriers make it a pain to use the washrooms or other services. Prices have jumped recently as well - but that is another topic.
Staff however are generally friendly albeit difficult to find at times.
I brought my concerns to the attention of a manager on one visit and feel like they were just shrugged off.

Dear Manager of Real Canadian Superstore Anderson, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally bring to your attention a concerning incident involving one of your staff members, Alara, during my recent visit to the store on 11 July, 2024, at 6: 25 pm , I witnessed Alara displaying unprofessional behavior towards us . Specifically, she was rude when ⁰interacting with us. We just simply requesting assistance with scanning our grocery items.
Additionaly, we observed her kicking and push our grocery bag with her foot , which was not only disrespectful but also created an uncomfortable atmosphere for those present.
I hope you will address this matter appropriately to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Thank you for your attention to this issue.

I was in Superstore the morning of Sunday July 7th. I had an off putting experience with the woman at customer service. She is an Indian heavy set woman with a black turban. I don’t know if this woman is well but she should really learn about customer service.

Visited superstore in Vernon as we do every year for our annual camping trip. We shop superstore at home as the prices are typically unbeatable. I ventured here on my own to refill our propane tank via the tank exchange program, however, my husband has historically managed the propane. I ventured over to the tank display outside which does not provide any instructions on how the program works. So, as any reasonable person would, I headed in to the customer service desk for their assistance. I said to the lady behind the counter, with a smile on my face and a chipper yet slightly embarrassed tone “hello, my husband typically deals with the propane tank exchange, so I’m not entirely certain what to do”. I was met with the most hostile and aggressive paraverbal cues I have encountered in quite some time, her tone constructed entirely of condescension, she stated “for starters you don’t bring the tank into the store”. While I agree this is a fair policy, there is absolutely no signage outside on the tank display or at the front doors indicating that this is a policy. I politely replied with “oh there are no instructions on how the program works so I didn’t know what I didn’t know”. She shot back in what I can only describe as a deeply condescending tone, “well most people know not to bring flammables into a store”. While she may have a point (despite the tank being empty it is still classified as a hazardous material), her demeanour was embarrassingly unprofessional, hostile and condescending. Her facial expression was nothing short of disgusted as we stared at each other in mutual acknowledgement. I then asked her if there was a customer service call button placed at the tanks that I did not see. She scoffed and said “no you leave the tank in your car because someone from house wares cant just be there in 2 or 3 minutes so you come here, you pay for it, you go back to your car and you meet the rep at the tank stand”. To which I asked again, so none of this procedure is posted anywhere for people without experience with the program to reference then ? To which she replied by again explaining to me how the program works.
I cannot imagine a less suitable personality to be placed at a customer service counter. This type of behaviour is exactly why people are hesitant to ask for help let alone interact with other human beings. I’d like to acknowledge it is entirely possible she was having an off day, however, if that were the case, perhaps staying home or asking to be moved to a different department where you can manage your own emotions and not be abusive towards customers would be a better course of action.

Clean, good service, prices well...it's pricier now. Cashiers could be trained to work a little faster at ring-in as their quite slow compared to larger Superstore centres.

Everytime I go there, which is literally every 2 weeks on payday, the prices on everything including the same items, go up in price. This should be criminal.
