“Barra was amazing. So much to see in all the colorful shops. We strolled along taking our time. Lunch time brought us closer to the malecon and a lovely restaurant overlooking the surf. Great watching the surfers waiting to tackle the waves There was even a resident parrot that delighted in making noise.The Bay on the other side of the malecon was filled with people enjoying the sand and boats passing.We found the people in all the stores eager to help us find items. Although some do not speak English fluently they all do attempt to understand. Wonderful opportunity to see an authentic Mexican city with so much history.”

“Best ice cream in town. It's on the way back from kin Beach so my dog and I always stop in so he can have an ice cream cone. Nice little bench plus a doggie Hitching Post so he doesn't have to wait in the car”
