I have more experience there now and they have mostly what I'm looking for although it is frustrating trying to bag my groceries especially when I have alot of things and there is a lineup pushing me through, still I've upgraded my previous rating:)

Good parking, and a clean store. Love the produce section it's really nice. Great prices on all their goods. Best place to get groceries in Vernon.

Vernon Freshco was a practical store to shop at. Good location near complementary services, interesting selection of products with well-advertised sales. That’s where it ends.
Parking facility, policies and enforcement are seriously flawed. We were victimized by a hit and run the first week of owning a new vehicle as the parking spaces are undersized. Now an $80 ticket for using the parking lot to access the store plus additional services in the local vicinity. There is no way a “ customer only” policy can be effectively or fairly enforced and an $80 fine leaves me feeling seriously victimized. FreshCo is now taken off my list of optional, cost-effective food stores.
Read the room, most of your customers walk to the store or use the parking to access local services and take the opportunity to buy some groceries as well.
Other options for the parking would be to enforce a 1-hour limit to any and all users or create a revenue source with a pay-parking lot. Either would work for me but I will wait for changes before returning as a customer.

Today, I witnessed a very unpleasant situation in the store. The manager, an older woman with gray hair, treated the staff as if they were objects, not people. I understand that sometimes staff members may not be very experienced or make mistakes, but this gives no right to demean or disrespect them. I feel sorry for the employees who have to endure such treatment. I hope the management will take notice of this situation and make efforts to improve working conditions and prevent such incidents from happening again.

This is better than the old Safeway, store staff is helpful and there is always deals. Affordable and you want that with a grocery store

If good prices are the main thing about a grocery well is okay. Good for seniors and people with low income. Staff are always friendly. However I think cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere is really important especially to lift the spirits of the people who shop there.
