Shout out to the best Fitness Centre team in town!
I became a member almost three years ago and I highly recommend their membership. It covers the gym, all classes, well-being education, and access to the pool, steam sauna, and hot tub. When I first joined, the instructors were friendly and made sure I felt welcomed.
At the reception, I usually interacted with Leslie, Danielle, and Cody, who were always helpful. My favorite classes were with Johanna, Jenna, and Sandy. They consistently brought great energy and passion to each session and knew the regulars by name. Thank you, ladies, for making us fitter!
I also enjoyed classes with Hamid, who filled in for some of the sessions I attended last year.

I was in town for a few days and did drop-ins at this Y. It’s a little smaller than the photos make it out to be (I thought it was a huge gym area), but it has what you need to get your workout in. Some free weights, machines and lots of cardio equipment. It’s $20 to drop in and $2 to rent a lock and $2 to rent a larger size towel. They have smaller towels on the 3rd floor if you don’t plan to shower or use the pool. The pool is nice, hot tub and sauna were also nice to have. I would drop in at this gym again if I was in the area.

By far the best gym ive signed up too. Amazing front desk staff, the gym is always clean, steam room works great.

I personally believe this might be the best gym available in downtown that I have been to. It's spacious with amazing, kind working people.
However, I have been coming for quite some time, and the only advice I could share is to add another stair master. The lack of a stair master machine is very disappointing. The gym has multiple cardio machines, but only one stair master. The equipment has a 30-minute time limit, but if it's in use, good luck. I have often had to wait for other guests, only to see them stop the machine after 30 minutes and then restart it.

I love to thank you so much to all YWCA facility. When i started my fat loss journey, i was hopeless but the environment which i got in YWCA was so energetic, positive and motivated. My weight was 75 KG and now i m 55 KG. Thank you for providing positive energy and vibrant environment.

I have enjoyed their variety of classes. Specially dance & zumba classes were great.Also I liked the women's gym.However, requiring my own lock was a little annoying. Hope YWCA can adapt the YMCA membership card being used as lock & key one day.Also, suspending membership is $20/month, and canceling membership requires a month notice & $45 cancelation fee are the reasons that I only tried for a month.I would love to combine YWCA annual membership with the other one, but with these additional costs, I was not convinced it's worth it.

I was a member of this gym, but I am very dissatisfied with their service. My recent experience has left me extremely disappointed.On October 15th, I learned that I would have to go on a business trip for a month, so I immediately contacted the front desk to request a suspension of my membership. The front desk staff told me that the 15th was my billing day, and they couldn't process it on the spot. They suggested I email customer service, so I followed their advice and sent an email. However, the response from the customer service department left me very frustrated. They told me that in order to suspend my membership, I would need to give at least two weeks' notice in advance, which is almost impossible for me because business trip plans are not always known two weeks in advance. The customer service representatives were very rude and showed no understanding or empathy towards my situation.I pay over $70 CAD per month for my membership, but I can't use any of the membership benefits for even a single day in a month. This is truly disappointing. I don't understand why they can't provide a more flexible solution to allow members to suspend their accounts in emergency situations. This policy is really unfair to loyal members.In summary, I am very disappointed with this gym's customer service and policies. I hope they can improve their practices to better meet the needs of their members. If you are considering becoming their member, please think twice.

Extremely overpriced and everything is money here. Works like a pyramid scheme. Once you are in, you cannot leave without paying and you have to pay for every single step. And the location is extremely inconvenient with no parking spot dedicated to the members. All that money they charge you but you still have to pay downtown rate for parking. Machines are limited, you cannot find everything you need or want. Overall, this is one of those establishments that looks pretty but empty inside.
