Manuel was great, my experience absolutely frictionless and the room was cozy, homely and spacious. I chose this hotel because it was centric and affordable, but it was one of the best places I stayed at during my visit.

Was easy to find and the staff was happy and very helpful even with a 11pm check-in. I got the king room that was exactly the one posted online. Everything is very modern and clean...I counted four water spouts in the shower. Took me a bit to figure out the coffee machine, but to be fair I dont use those fancy pod units and I typically drink a pot a day. Yes the hotel is on a busy street, but it was walkable from the train and then again in the morning to a bus. I would gladly stay here again.
Rooms: Mini fridge, fancy coffee machine and a very comfortable bed / pillows
Safety: There are homeless people everywhere down town...that didn't stop me from walking down to 7/11 for some snacks at midnight tho

Booked a Legacy King Size room through their website at a very reasonable rate. Arrived early in the day, the concierge was very considerate and set aside our luggage until the room was available.
The room was very clean, comfortable and everything was modern. Each bed side table had a wireless charger and usb built into the lamp.
The bathroom was large and accommodating, with a nice shower. Temperature control in the room was responsive & silent, being radiators.
Sheets were nice and bed very soft.
The provided Wifi worked very well.
Overall a very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Will stay again.
Rooms: Rooms have a relaxing charm about them. Easy to be comfortable in. Clean and pleasant.
Walkability: Downtown and near everything.

Beware Deceptive Pricing Practices
I made a reservation at Victorian Hotel on booking.com. The price displayed, and confirmed, said “TOTAL PRICE $ CAD.”
After I stayed at the hotel and got my credit card bill, the price was almost 20% higher than what was in my confirmation.
When I called to complain that I was charged a higher amount than was on my confirmation, they said the extra cost was 19% sales tax.
I explained that the sales tax was not disclosed anywhere on the booking.com reservation screens, nor was there any mention of sales tax in my email confirmation.
I asked the hotel to honor the price I agreed to. They would not.
Beware.

Service was great, the room was nice and clean as well. Modern forniture. The main entrance is NOT accessible to wheelchairs or large suitcases, you must carry them through the stairs but there’s elevators inside. The room was small but comfortable. The main complaint is that it seems like the ventilation system in the bathroom didn’t work at its best and the room retains a lot of moisture that translates to a distinctive not so pleasant odor in the room.
Other than that, it’s pretty close to downtown, about 8 min, I’d come back.

The Victorian Hotel was incredible for the price. A cute little charming hotel. I was worried about the shared bathrooms in the hotel but I never had an issue when needing to use the washroom. All the spaces were very clean.
The walls are thin but that is just due to the building being old.
I felt very safe in the hotel, but the area is a bit sketchy. It’s right downtown and we were able to get everywhere we needed by bus or by foot.
Rooms: Small but super charming. If you don’t mind a smaller sized room this place is perfect.
Walkability: Great location- I would recommend maybe avoiding Pender st.

Noteworthy details: Hotel confortable y muy bien situado para embarcar en un crucero. Aunque había 3 baños compartidos por planta siempre estaban limpios y con disponibilidad. Personal amable y que nos facilitaron dejar las maletas el día del regreso del crucero.

Hotel room was lovely....Two large beds fridge, coffe maker, huge wardrobe space.
Lovely white bedding and towels
Staff so welcoming.
I would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a fantastic day here, excellent service with check-in seamless, and friendly with Manuel.
Beds are comfy and our room was a bit small, but very clean and what we needed for a quick night.
The breakfast place next-door who they have breakfast vouchers for was delicious as well.
It is a bit pricey, but then it seems all the hotels nearby were.

I stayed in a room that had a shared washroom.
Pros: The bed was comfortable. Well located. Competitive price.
Cons: You could hear other people walking around in their rooms. You have to bring your towels to the bathroom which is inconvenient. There was no full length mirror in the room or bathroom. The room had limited outlets far from the bed.

Boutique hotel in a great location. The hotel is an easy walk from Canada Place, Sky train and Gas Town (although uphill to hotel). The rooms were very clean and nicely laid out. Our room has a shared bathroom which was never a problem- clean, no wait, and spacious. The staff was friendly and very helpful making plans. We stayed 3 nights total on two separate occasions and enjoyed the hotel very much.
