I came in with the intention to view and try on a necklace I had seen online and was worried about the possible hovering or pressure the sales people would have on the customers. I was greeted with such professionalism by Lucas who was able to answer my questions without any hesitation. He was very knowledgeable and didn’t make me feel pressured while being in the store. I like how he has a business card in which I can purchase directly through him since he 100% deserves the sale from how great the service he provided was.

I am writing this letter with a profound sense of dismay and frustration regarding the appalling service I experienced at your store. During the recent Spring Festival, I was shocked to find out that despite the absence of any epidemic-related restrictions, customers were still required to make appointments. This draconian approach not only baffled me but left me deeply dissatisfied.Furthermore, during my recent visit to your store, the indifference displayed by your salesperson was beyond belief. My father had made a prior appointment, and yet, he was attended to while I was blatantly ignored. To add insult to injury, a so-called manager rudely pressured me to hurry up and leave as closing time approached, completely disregarding the customary try-on service one would expect from a reputable jewelry store.This level of dismissive and unprofessional behavior is utterly unacceptable. I had hoped for a pleasant shopping experience at Van Cleef & Arpels, but your service attitude has left me with no choice but to sever any future consumer ties with your establishment. Consider this letter a testament to my profound dissatisfaction, and be assured that I will actively discourage others from patronizing your store.

I had the most extraordinary, professional and attentive service at Van Cleef and felt compelled to write a review. Although I did not make a prior appointment, I was greeted warmly by the security and the staff inside. I was fortunate to have Elizabeth, who was gracious, thoughtful and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to create a truly memorable and special experience. Her service was exemplary and I left the store feeling well-taken care of and like million bucks!

First time shopping at Van Cleef & Arpels. I was a bit worried about encountering snobby attitudes, common in other luxury stores in Vancouver. But once I enter store, I was kindly offered water and chocolate. Lucas made the whole experience easy and pleasant with his expertise and friendly approach. I'm really happy with my first purchase at VCA and look forward to coming back for next year's Christmas shopping."

I love visiting this location because it is rare to find a luxury boutique where the associates are pleasant and not snobby to their customers. It makes the shopping experience extra special.

Had a great shopping experience at Van Cleef & Arpels today with Ryoko. She started by giving us a tour around the boutique, introducing the different collections. I selected a few pieces to try on and eventually selected the Sweet Alhambra mother of pearl necklace. As each MOP piece varies slightly, Ryoko was extremely patient as I was trying to decide between the two necklaces. The service from all the staff was excellent and I would like to give a quick thank you to the gentleman who offered my friend and I the green tea and Evian water. I will definitely be coming back to add more pieces to my jewelry collection.

Visited for adjustment of bracelet, staff very friendly and eager to help. What surprised me more was the amazing attitude of the doormen that greeted us; one was a lady and the other one a gentleman. Both are very welcoming. Much better experience than the VCA in Paris.

Worst service of the luxury store. I got a birthday present from my husband but I prefer another style so we went for an exchange. A tall and slim lady served us, but her attitude was pretty cold and even doesn’t want to talk to me. I tried a couple stuff and ask how much of them. She didn’t reply us and continued looking on her phone. She can literally say “let me check “ or “ they are on the price tag “ but she just say nothing and after a while she said it’s xxxx dollar. All the process was like she is not very willing to serve us even though we keep polite. If this lady serve us at our first visit I definitely would not buy anything.

First time visiting the store today and tried on a few necklaces, but the SA’s attitude totally deterred me from making a purchase in the end. It’s a bummer because I was set on purchasing the beautiful Vintage Alhambra pendant in 18K rose gold, diamond, and when I told the SA that I liked that one the most, to which he replied in a nonchalent tone, “sure, yeah, what’s not to like”. He also put on one of the necklaces ‘back facing the front’ [facepalm], which is a first for me, but also not surprising since he appeared distracted most of the time. Overall, definitely a worse experience compared to the other high end jewelry stores I visited while in town.

Rarely has items in stock, tone def sales associates - the element and experience of buying luxury is missed here. Maybe they don't get commission because they sure act like they're doing you a favor. better customer service experienced in other high end retailers (eg dior, Chanel, Cartier, etc) and better off buying directly from website.

I like their pieces but I do think that you are better off purchasing online. I went in store a few months ago with my mom to try on the vintage Alhambra pendant in 18k gold. Ultimately we decided to get it shipped back home to save on the taxes but upon opening, it did not come with a box. The necklace only came with a pouch. I then asked the associate if I could stop by to get a box or if they could ship it and they told me to bring the pouch back to exchange for the box. It was more trouble to go back and forth, so I kept the pouch.I then came in recently to try on the frivole pendant and my partner purchased it in store this time (didn’t save on the tax). This item was already out aside and paid for in advance. Once they wrapped everything up, they just handed it to me (box and authenticity booklet) with no bag to put it in, which seemed very unprofessional. We were asked if we wanted a bag and they made us pay 15 cents for it. Normally, I am not one to complain at any other store but if you spend thousands at a store, the least they can do is give you a bag to put your stuff in.We were taken aback but bought the bag… and this set off a downward spiral where my partners AMEX card was blocked for fraud as AMEX did not think there was anything this cheap (15 cents) sold at VCA.Basically, if you love their stuff, I would get it. But for a luxury store like this, it was giving me stingy.

I had an amazing experience at VCA- we felt very taken care of. Our SA was beyond kind and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend making a reservation here.
