we just celebrated my sons 7th birthday and it was fantastic! He was ecstatic from the moment he walked in; seeing the colouring table with his favourite comic characters, listening to his favorite music, followed by the yoga activities and obstacle course-it was a big hit for him and his friends. The second room was perfect for cake and snacks, little escape for the parents and smaller kids to rest. Would highly suggest Üphoria for birthday parties. He also loves going to the movie nights as well as PD days!

Wonderful Option for children’s birthday parties. I recently held my 6 year old twin boys birthday party at Üphoria- and it was amazing! A group kid-themed yoga class, obstacle course, and dance party with lights and fun music! They have a separate room for cake and treats and set out art for the kids. Friendly and accommodating staff. Party was a success- highly recommend!

Our son spent most his kindergarten and grade1 after school care here. He benefited from being able to attend a couple movies nights with his little brother also. They both preferred this ASC program over the nearby ju jitsu which they found overwhelming as it gets quite noisy underground. Plenty of boys attend here so they find lots of ways to entertain them and let them ease into the yoga participation. Only complaint was seeing some amazing staff leave, very loving employees all of them seem to love building bonds with the kids. Would re-register if requiring the 3-530 care again which included school pick up. Great owners with young children. They treat you and your kids like family.

My wife who was 36 weeks pregnant signed up for an introductory package at this studio with unlimited classes for 2 weeks. Due to menstrual pains from being on the verge of labour my wife had to cancel a class but when she checked online no class was showing (due to an apparent system error which she only found out later) so she couldn’t cancel online. She tried to call in but no one picked up the phone. So she assumed that the class wasn’t happening. On my recommendation she also emailed the studio on a later date to explain the situation. But the studio still charged her a $25 cancellation fee.
This is the same studio that on their own cancelled some of those classes without notice that should have been available during my wife’s two week trial. But when my wife had asked for a different session to make up for it they said no. Nor were they willing to credit her any money back.
We were too overwhelmed at that point to further engage with the studio so we had no choice but to just forfeit the money.
Way to take advantage of a pregnant woman going into labour.
And also to take zero accountability for your own system error as well cancelling classes that should have been accounted for.
The level of customer service and empathy at this studio and especially by the owner is so incredibly disappointing.
The level of yoga my wife also said was honestly quite substandard also. It is definitely not worth the cost.
She never really read the reviews for this studio. She just saw the rating. In hindsight when she read it almost all of them are for children's birthday parties or events.
We would highly recommend against choosing this studio and especially for pre-natal yoga!

my son doesn't like the yoga program and his hand was smashed in a door at this class by another student and was sent to hospital! he had received stitches and is in extreme pain, they do not watch your children, or my son wouldn't have had his hand smashed in a door by another child and needed stitches!!! my son was crying screaming, but obviously there staff is so incompetent that they don't even watch young children like they are paid to do...do not send your children here and risk them being severely injured by a incompetent staff who doesn't even do there job like watching the kids.HORRIBLE PROGRAM HORRIBLE FOR CHILDREN!!!!

After attending an amazing Pro D day camp, our daughter asked if she could have her birthday at Uphoria yoga. I had high expectations for the price tag that comes along with this sort of experience, and I have to admit this is money well spent.Attentive, talented staff. Very stylish and spacious venue. Custom, specially designed programming for our daughters’ theme (princess party, of course!). This place has it all.I was ASTONISHED as the party was winding down after eating cake, with 15 minutes remaining, the facilitators offered “Hey everyone! Does anyone want to dance their wiggles out in the studio?” This is what really put it over the top for me: as parents were arriving to pick up their children and I was running around tidying the results of a 5 year olds birthday party, they were greeted with the children prancing around playfully with scarves in the main studio.The studio staff could have very easily just let that last 15 minutes ride with crazy kindergarten energy, but they just crushed it for us. For me, this is above and beyond and deserves special recognition. Thank you so much!!

A wonderful place for kids and adults alike! Our son really enjoys the classes and camps and I love it too. Such a warm, caring, and nurturing place, we can’t recommend it enough.

We had my daughter's 5th birthday here and it was amazing. My daughter had a Pokemon themed yoga journey along with a dance party. She was very engaged as everything they did was Pokemon based. It's a unique and one of a kind experience. Highly recommend!

Our children have been attending the after school yoga program at Uphoria this year and they have absolutely loved it! We have been thrilled with our experience and highly recommend this program. They learned mindfulness and kindness, made friends, enjoyed fun activities and crafts and were incredibly well cared for. Thanks for a wonderful year!

Uphoria is a very special place. Tara and Shayan have created a lovely bubble of community in the city. I went to prenatal classes all throughout pregnancy and have continued postpartum with my baby. It is such a safe, calm and nurturing place. The friendliest, kindest family studio around! I will miss it so much!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Uphoria Yoga. We hosted 7 yoga sessions for a company lunch-hour wellness event with up to 9 people per class. Our "students" were all healthcare workers who work in a facility nearby. Tara was very responsive and great in coordinating and being flexible about dates, and she arranged for one wonderful instructor to host all 7 sessions. Emily, the instructor, had nothing but positive reviews from all our staff. Thanks Tara and Emily!

I absolutely love Uphoria Yoga. I found it an amazing sanctuary when I was pregnant and needing movement for my body and solidarity with other pregnant people for my soul. I now go to baby and me classes with my little one and it's such a special experience. The Uphoria team is amazing and makes you feel so welcome, cared for, and supported. I hope all childbearing folks consider going to Uphoria, they won't regret it!
