I was extremely disappointed with the dole whip advertised today. The advertisement DID NOT correspond to the actual dole whip. The taste, texture and color was nothing like dole whip. The texture was foam like, it was not yellow in color and the taste was nothing close to being dole whip in any way. The size of the cup was micro size, something you would order for a toddler. The cost was not worth it. I still wouldn't eat if it was free and that saids a lot! The Milkman should stop serving dole whip entirely, it's literally a disgrace to serve their customers dole whip that isn't dole whip. Worst dessert I've ever had. My kids love dessert and they had nothing good to say about it. The service was horrible. I should have turned around and left. Definitely not returning and will be sharing my horrible experience with others so they don't waste their time and money at this place.

Stole my money don’t shop here. Went in to buy a mango drink and when I went to pay the cashier had 45$ on the card payment reader and she held it up near my phone and said “wait!” My phone was to close and the apple pay went and I payed for someone else’s stuff who had stepped away. The cashier then got her mom who runs the store: she lied to my face and refused to refund me 45$ or pay me cash. She said she couldn’t reverse the transaction. I’ve worked retail before and have friends who work in the market, she was lying so she could earn extra money. Won’t shop here and I live nearby and I’m out to get these guys.

Haven’t gone to this place in years as I always remembered horrible service but I wanted a water so thought I’d give a try even if it slightly more expensive. I went to grab a medium size bottle of Evian (the 1L bottle) and went to pay, keep in mind no prices are listed, water is room temperature and they don’t even say hi. The worker asked me how I would like to pay then handed me the machine and said “$8.80”. I was shocked and asked “$8 for the water?” And she aggressively said $8.80 back to me. I said no thanks and placed it back, she rolled her eyes at me
I ended up buying the same bottle from the 7/11 5 min away for $3.25
This business has awful service, their drinks aren’t cold and they price gouge hoping to pray on people who don’t know how to say no or don’t notice.
I strongly advise not dealing with them

The grocery store behind the Ice cream ?store is NOT recommended to come. All products have no price tags. The receipts have no label of products’ names, either.

Had the pineapple dole whip that was hard to find. The ice cream was creamy and good but I’d prefer a more distinct pineapple flavour. The service is horrible though - they charge extra for everything. 0.25 for debit, 0.50 for credit, 0.10 for an extra spoon, extra for a cup. This is the cost of doing business - you should not be charging customers for this!!! Won’t be back because the service and up charges left a bad taste in my mouth.

We were finally able to try the dole pineapple whip. We have had it in Hawaii and in Disneyland. Flavour is amazing and very similar. Yet the portion size was extremely small. It would be the equivalent of a kids size so keep it in mind when you order.

No prices on anything, very expensive ($7.50 for a large bottle of water) and they feel they need to charge extra for debit and a different extra fee for credit. Won't come back here

Rude customer service. She condesended on customers and didn't care on customer request. The smoothie is just sugar and canned fruits.

Gave my child $15 to buy ice cream here. He ordered single scoop of cookies and cream in a waffle cone. They took both of his bills ($5 and $10) and returned $4.85 in small change. Very sad that staff would be dishonest and take advantage of children by short changing them as the price for basic ice cream is not $10.15... no receipt was provided either.

$20 for 2 single scoop cups and 1 single cone of ice cream is very pricey given that 3 Popinas with a lot more than one scoop would be $27.There is a surcharge for everything (debit card, credit card).Ice cream was decent but not great.

After a recent trip to Hawaii, I was super stoked to see this joint offering Dole Whip.Whilst it wasn't the most authentic, it was still pretty yummy although lacked a fresh and vibrant pineapple taste that you get with an authentic Dole Whip.Service and staff really are not friendly or approachable, but it's one of the rare places to grab an ice cream around Granville Island when your tastebuds are popping.

Horrible, overpriced milkshakes. Really poor flavour, chunks of ice. Among the worst I've ever had. What a shame.Also, reader, please note that a lot of the 5 star reviews here are for the wonderful Granville Island Market, not The Milkman
