Staples through frames on multiple occasions. I like the drop off system they have, but can't get over the lack of care taken when handling the negatives.

Photo copies turned out beautiful, a good place if you want special prints. It’s expensive if you’re printing regular 4x6 photos though

As far as I know, they are the only lab doing dip and dunk, my first and only roll of film developed here was fantastic, not a single speck or scratch (as expected from dip and dunk), but the lady here is not particularly friendly or some would say rude, which is pretty unfortunate, thus I've never been back since.

I think the scanning quality and the development catches up with standards if not better. I just do not understand why it takes 3 days to scan a readily processed film. I might be too impatient lol

they developed my 13 old film, and the outcome is amazing.

Efficient 120 processing (C41, E6 and B&W). Batch scans were pretty good — nice clarity and resolution, but quite a few off centre and partially cropped. Service was friendly. Overall, quite happy with my experience.

For me, it takes a lot for me to give a lower rating for a business. I have three reasons for giving this business two stars:1. I brought my film in for push development, as London Drugs does not offer the service. I order digital copies, they say it will be ready by Monday (this was a Wednesday, so no problem). Monday comes, I receive nothing. I give a three day grace period before I call. On the Thursday, I call them, and it turns out it's ready, just one problem: they sent it to the wrong email. So, I tell them the correct one (which was written on the order form I gave them) and they say they'll send it. Then I wait. It does not come for the rest of the week. I show up today, in person, to pick up the film and find out why I'm not getting my photos. I am greeted by a lady, who is very kind, and she let me know that it was sent to the wrong email, AGAIN! After that, she forwarded it to the email, and she apologized. I wasn't mad, just confused how my email could be sent incorrectly twice.2. The cost for the large file scanning with processing is 38 dollars. With that cost, I was expecting archival quality scans with an extremely high resolution. What did I get? 3000 x 2008 photos. That is only 6MP.???Are you telling me that your 18,000 dollar scanner is only capable of basic scans? For reference, London Drugs offers 3130 x 2075 resolution (6.5 MP) for $6. And that's their basic scan option. To add a cherry on top, London Drugs' premium scan is $11 dollars and offers resolution of 6774 x 4492.That's a whopping 30.4 MP!So please, help me understand why you charge so much for such a basic resolution. This is 2023, after all.And please, don't use "mb" to talk about resolution, it is incredibly misleading. Provide clarity to the consumer so they know exactly what they're getting. At the very least, use MP.3. Dip and dunk seems to be a selling point for developing film, but based on the process, it appears it has done more harm than good.Based on this process, you have put holes in one of my exposures for doing this process. Why can't you add an extension to the film so you don't leave rips in it? I'd prefer to have my negatives unscathed. From an archivist's perspective, this is horrendous. Here are my suggestions for you guys to improve your business:1. Double check your spelling when typing in emails. It isn't the customers' job to make sure you're going to send it correctly in the first place. I've put trust in you, as a business, to fulfill your end of the contract.2. You need to offer more competitive prices for scans if other companies are offering much better quality scans for much less. Give the customer clarity of what resolution scans they're getting (hint: MP). Not everyone is rich, and the expectation of receiving archival quality scans is set pretty darn high. Your everyday customer would rather go to Kerrisdale Cameras or London Drugs to get much more for much less.3. Handle customer's film with the utmost care possible, as customers are the reason you are still up and running. And if you do damage it, or notice any damage, PLEASE... leave a note for the customer. You will have more respect and strengthen your reputation of being a trustworthy business. As I've stated my case, I cannot justify bringing film into The Lab. It is far less economical than alternatives, and it is too vague to put my trust into it.If you can fulfill these requirements, I'm sure you'll see more people come, and less people going.

Very good prices and good scans, I hope I can diagnose why so many rolls here lately have had no photos, maybe it is the new type of film. Last year they developed 40 rolls, all perfect, no change in camera.

Excellent service. They care about what they do and the quality of their work. Pay for the higher res scans if that’s what you care about, but tbh I’ve never had any issues.

Sadly, The Lab failed to live up to the hype. They are rude, unbelievably overpriced for what they offer and their condescending attitude was enough to ensure I will never return. Not worth it... for any reason.

Excellent images from a finger drive all the way from Australia. Best place for custom work. Nathan(the technician who patiently walked me through each image for cropping, size, colour correction and paper choice) the quality of the images was amazing thank you. The photos represented different time periods up to a hundred years ago. Grateful and thrilled customer.

Scan quality for 35mm negatives is not good. Will have to send them somewhere else to get rescanned. They left a sticker on one of the shots before scanning as well. Turn around time was decent.
