yesterday I bought two “USA Pans” brand loaf pans - $50 for both of them.
I took the stickers off of them when I got them home, and hand washed the pans as the instructions indicated.
Set them on the drying rack overnight, got up this morning, and they were rusted on the underneath, and rust coloured water dripping from them.
I no longer had the sticky tags that are on the pans, and my husband had thrown the garbage away - so I made a point of taking them back right away this morning with the receipt from yesterday.
Because I did not have the stickers for them, they would not refund my money. They would only exchange them out for another set.
However, before they exchanged them, they took the stickers off of the replacement ones they gave me and put them onto the ones I returned - I asked her why and she said it was to assure that THEY will be reimbursed for the bad product. I pointed out to her that she had just created a scenario where if these are bad pans, I can’t bring them back and get my money back. She didn’t care.
While I was waiting, a man beside me came in to return a nonstick pan, with the box and receipt, because his eggs stuck to it horribly. He explained it to her, and she said “you have to use oil with this pan.“ He showed her the instructions on the back of the box, and it said “little or no oil.” She then told him that he should not have used oil, and was balking at his request for a refund - he reminded her the instructions said he did not have to.
He asked to speak to the manager and was waiting his turn.
The manager was the person who took my stickers off of my new pans. I didn’t stick around long enough to see what this poor guy’s fate was with his return.
What an insane way to do business. I won’t buy any product here again that might fail due to factory issues. If these pans respond the same way to being hand washed, they will end up in the garbage, because I can’t return them - she took the stickers for the store’s own benefit.

This store has got everything any foodie could ever dream of! It almost needs a few trips to fully take in all they have to offer. From appliances, to cookware, knives, gadgets and gizmos for the kitchen. There is also an extensive selection of food items from an assortment of frozen delights to pantry staples from here there and everywhere. Pricing is on par with what I'd expect.

My only complaint is that theres one employee that wasn’t consistent with his/her answer. I bought wooden cutting board and i asked him/ her regarding the maintenance (seasoning, washing, etc)
He/ she told me that i didnt need to do any seasoning (use directly), i can just handwash, use it, and after a month maintain it using mineral oil
I bought the cutting board, wash it, use it, and wash it again. After it dried the cutting board shows a soft-wooden-hair. Uncertain about this, i asked Reddit. Which most of people in Reddit mentioned that i need to season it before i use it.
After knowing i need to season it, i return to store and bought the wax & oil. I asked the same person regarding the soft-hairy-wood in a new cutting board and he/she said “oh yeah you need to season it” what? You told me last week i dont have to season it. you told me i can wash it, use it, and season it after a month?
Apart from that everything is 5/5

I love this store! It has everything a kitchen enthusiast could dream of. While it's a little pricey, the experience is worth it, and it’s great to see and get everything in one place. I’ve also found that their Le Creuset items are cheaper than on the official Le Creuset website, so I always choose to buy from here when needed. Plus, you get your items right away without paying extra for shipping!

Security would rather get on your case for smoking by their closed door rather than have a customer once done browsing their website

Excellent selection and reasonable prices. The store has an underground parking that has to be accessed from the alley. Do not park at the neighboring lot - it belongs to No Frills and they will tow. When I was there, they had a selection of 15 types of gluten free pasta.

I was looking for some kitchen gadgets and The Gourmet Warehouse had what I wanted, along with the accessories. Placed my order only and was kept informed of shipping. Arrived in good time and well packaged. A legitimate company.
