My car has not been fixed by Spotlite yet but if the service that I have experienced so far is anything to go by, I know I will be extremely satisfied.
Sophia and Mike, the owner, went above and beyond to assist after I was rear ended. They worked with VW on main so seamlessly.
Thank you Spotlite for making a very emotional and stressful day much easier.

I have nothing but utmost respect for Mike and Tanya, and their crew at Spotlite Collision - nothing but the utmost respect. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I attach here before- and after-pictures.
I had two accidents on my car: One self-inflicted and the other due to someone hitting my car while being parked. I paid for the first job, and ICBC covered the second job. Mike gave me an excellent price for fixing my self-inflicted accident on the driver's door - excellent price. How do I know it is excellent? Because I shopped around and other people gave me higher price without even offering me a courtesy car!
As you can see from the after-pictures; the car is in a pristine state. What is more is that there was some other scratches on the passenger side of the car, and Mike and Tanya and their crew at Spotlite Collision surprised me by painting these scratches on the passenger side. Tanya even called me on a Sunday (one day before my Monday appointment) to confirm our appointment.
I also had a very elegant brand-new Toyota courtesy car to drive which was extremely clean and detailed. Fast forward one week, and I’m due to pick my car. My car was washed and detailed inside and outside. Besides the material service, Mike and Tanya are some of the most decent people you would feel comfortable talking to. They are professionals.
And yes, I was offered a small light torch as a gift when I picked my car. Honestly, I’m the one supposed to offer the gift and not get the gift.
As a side note, I’m a project manager, and I can get as fussy and picky as it gets. However, I have a practical side too. Some comments here on Google pertaining to Spotlite Collision will exaggerate the level of perfection a car should possess following being serviced by a body shop. I disagree with these comments.
Let us be honest, any car that has been on the road for two or more years will never be as pristine as a new car that is just out of the factory. Asking any body shop to get a car back to its pristine state seamlessly is mostly a waste of time. I do advocate perfection, but not extreme perfection. The same applies to my tenant improvements or renovation jobs, I expect perfection but not super perfection from the trades!
All in all, if you want to have friends for life when it comes to cars, please go ahead and introduce yourself to Mike and Tanya. Both of them are a pleasure to deal with!

Mike and the team were the most professional body shop I've ever experienced. Hands down one of the best in the city and the awards and plaques by the front desk was proof of it. The bumper needed to be replaced and the colour match was identical along with the part. I highly recommend this place!

My Ford F150 Lightning was involved in an Accident and my Ford Dealer recommended Spotlite as a Ford Authorized Repair centre. They have been outstanding for service and quality of work done. Their service after the fact is exceptional! I had a problem with my tailgate and they have gone above and beyond my expectations to get me sorted out! I will recommend Spotlite Collision to all if my friends and clients!

I have a mixed feelings about the Spotlight collision. On the one hand, they fixed my vehicle properly, on the other hand, they did some mistakes that shouldn’t have been made in the first place.
Starting from the beginning: I had a dumpster bin rolled into my car on one of the streets while my 2 year old car was parked, I started searching for a reliable body shop that could guarantee a 100 percent colour match and that has nice reviews. Spotlight collision could hit both of my search criteria.
I have waited for over 3 months to get my car done exactly in that place.
They gave me a nice low mileage VW suv as a replacement car, in 3-4 days they said I can pick up my fixed car, well I came, signed papers, came out to my car and was shocked - spaces between the hood and fenders were way different (see pictures), I was able to fit my finger between the left headlight and the hood (pictures), while the gap on the right headlight was ok, the colour of the painted detail was much darker than my car. They wrote down my complaints and in two days I was told it’s ready.
I didn’t expect much, to be honest, after the first try, but they proved me wrong - it was done perfectly. The only downside that I noticed was that they put my vehicle on the spot where there’s a puddle on the road, so all the left side was covered in muddy spots, but it didn’t ruin my mood.
The lady was very nice, she said that the mechanic was talked to, and that they are very serious about the quality. No one said that they are sorry though that I had to waste time on taking multiple trips and skipped work because of that..
So I took the vehicle from them and the day I brought it to the car wash I noticed a bunch of fingerprints on the left side of the car around the mirror that don’t come off, even after me trying to get rid off with cleaners, at first I thought it was grease or something but it something more sticky it just became a part of paint.
In my opinion, it is a worthy body shop that requires to add one more stage before handing the vehicle back to the owner, namely A quality control of the work done. And it should be done with a different professional from the actual mechanic that did the job.

Mike and his team have been looking after all of my vehicles for over 15 years. Their quality of work is consistently top tier. Everyone I know or come across that needs any sort of body work gets sent their way with no hesitation and all become clients for life. There’s a reason why they’re booked out for months sometimes. Definitely worth the wait rather than “trying out” another shop.

I walked in to Spotlite Collision for an inquiry. The receptionist welcomed me immediately and directed me to an estimator. We walked to my vehicle, he evaluated it and returned to his office. I was given a quote with availability at the time. Very professional.

Fantastic experience working on an ICBC claim with Spotlite. They were thorough, responsive, and helped in all necessary areas. Always great service and work. Came in for a claim that required paint and body work, and the paint matching was outstanding. They also detailed the car before returning, which is a plus, and provided a loaner while they did the work. Second visit to this location, and haven't had a bad experience.
