Over roughly ten years, I've purchased all my Macs at Simply (Broadway W, Vancouver, BC). I've had puzzles resolved by the help desk. I've traded in an old Mac laptop while buying a new Mac laptop. I prefer to support good local firms. I trust the team at Simply.

never again! there are so many other places to get you computer fixed fore much cheaper....i bought a mac book not even a year ago from them for $1000 plus, not even a year later im having display problems. they say they don't fix 2015 mac book but they sure do sell them! but if i got the warranty then they would be able to fix it... make that make sense! if i gave them more money then they could fix it ,, but because i didn't give them more money "there is nothing they can do about it! They over complicate things... and now im out a mac book.... im not wasting any more time with them!!!!!!

Just snagged a new iPad—well, an M2 iPad. Technology’s funny like that: one minute it’s cutting-edge, the next it’s vintage.
But for what I needed, the M2 IPad hit the sweet spot—better price than the shiny new M4, and it gets the job done. If you’re on a budget but still wanting to switch to a Mac or upgrade, they’ve got older models too, which is a solid win. Oh, and accessories like bags, chargers, covers and external keyboard are plentiful.

Leaving a review seems to be the only way you can get in touch with this store; all my voicemails and texts post-service have gone unanswered.
I had a great experience with Robert, who checked me in. But unfortunately, it was all down hill from there. I was there for a cracked screen. The person I picked my computer up from spoke over me when I tried to ask questions and point out a billing error (they were going to charge me for a service I didn't request or consent to and didn't deduct my deposit from my total bill). They backed up my computer without my consent; I had communicated that I did so already myself and now I can't get an answer as to what happens with that file now that my computer has been returned to me. When I turned my computer on, I got a systems notification that "client monitoring" had been installed—I don't know what this is, why it would be required for repairing a cracked screen or how to find and uninstall it.
While my screen was replaced and there's no issues with that part of the service, the experience feels a bit invasive and I'm reluctant to trust them in the future without an explanation of these oddities.

Simply Computing in. Vancouver, BC CANADA on Broadway is A++. The staff knows how to help you with everything you need help with—it can get busy there…BUT BE PATIENT. Everyone knows the high tech information that will get you the help you need. Not only can you get help for tech issues, but you can buy what you are shopping for—even phones. It is my first choice always when something happens and I need advice and service?

I went in to get some help with my laptop that wasn’t running well anymore. The battery was slow, it was overheating, it needed a charger at all times, and the screen was starting to give up. I was nervous that the repair would be expensive and worse I may need to replace it. Luckily Andrew, the manager, was extremely helpful. He was thorough, honest, and spent time answering all of my questions. He found me a great refurbished option that works perfectly. There was even a payment plan option that I signed up for which took away the anxiety of paying for a new laptop. He had a technician move all the data from my old laptop into the new one. It was the most stress free experience. I highly recommend stopping at Simply Computing even before going into the Apple Store. I promise you will get the best service.

Simply Computing is a gem! Besides having a solid selection of computers, devices and accessories, their service is outstanding. The staff are knowledgeable, attentive and friendly, and do everything they can to solve any problem you bring to them. In a time when the concept of “customer service” has lost almost all meaning, Simply Computing stands out for the personal touch they provide. Whether I need to buy a new computer or get something fixed, I choose Simply over any other place (including the Apple Store) 100% of the time.

Simply computing is an authorized apple dealer - so IMO just as good as the Apple Store for what I need!
We’ve purchased 2 x iPads, 2 x computers and most recently my phone from Simply Computing.
Their customer service is great and their product knowledge is amazing.
Sartec (sp?) was super friendly, helpful and transparent about my iPad and iPhone repairs - and we even got the repaired unit back early!
Sea Bass showed me a bunch of tricks for my iPhone - like using the Files app to automatically upload massive video footage directly to drop box or on drive to - and knew all the best integrations for video and photo editing apps.
Bonus - they are way easier for me to get to and they have 8+ parking spots out back, are much easier to get to (versus going an Apple Store)
Their version of Apple Care has an extra year on it, so a 1 yr apple care is 2 years with Simply Computing! (They cap the replacements x 2 whereas Apple Care is unlimited, but I prefer the extra year myself!)
We will be customers for a long time!
