The salesmen at Sensible Auto Sales are unscrupulous dishonest lying con-artists
We dealt with Bob Mather and Gary Loski.
Being NewZealander and a Spanish Couple on the trip of a life time we wanted a reliable vechile to have a 4 month road trip through North America and a month driving in Mexico On 6th of September 2011 we purchased a Chevy Venture from Sensible Auto Sales and the salesmen said the car had a full mechanical check and they told us the air conditioning was fully working. Three days after purchase we when to use the air conditioning in British Columbia and it wasn't working at all..
We took it to a chevy dealership and were told air conditioning hadn't been working for quite a while and it would cost $ 1000 USA to repair. Allegedly it had a full mechanical check but the head casket and the manifold casket blew costing us $ 1000 Canadian to have it repaired. So we traveled through the North American summer including the hottest place on earth through Death Valley with no air conditioning.
Sensible Auto Sales ruined our road trip with their deceit just to make a sale.
We had a very uncomfortable sweaty hot
road road trip with no air conditioning all because Sensible Auto Sales are a
unethical business. I have a
copy of the sale agreement which is definitive proof that we did indeed purchase this vehicle from Sensible Auto Sales

There’s a man outside with a sign that reads “take the vehicle to a mechanic first” GREAT ADVISE EVERYONE DO THIS IF YOU GO HERE!

If you like burning up piles of cash then buy your car here. Vehicle broke down with $7000 of head gasket repairs after 2 months. The $1000 warranty covers about 15% of the cost. That math doesn't look good. Also, a previous owner eventually informed of the need for the SAME repair before Sensible Auto Sales bought it.Avoid this place at all costs.-----Small note:If you can find a mechanic shop that will complete a 6 cylinder Tribeca head gasket repair for less than $3000 I suggest you have all your affairs in order before you drive it again. This is not EVEN CLOSE to a $3000 dollar fix at a shop, and all independent mechanics that have experience with Subarus quoted over $6000. So yes, the Lubrico warranty is useless for these kind of major problems.

Purchased a gmc envoy from them, and in less than a month the rear differential failed. They show you mechanical inspection report to make you think that it has been maintained and checked, but sadly it's not. Brought to a mechanic for repair and they found a more serious problem that the fuel regulator was leaking. So much for their safety inspection. Even though they sell used auto insurance, lubrico, we are having trouble dealing with them to help cover cost of repairs. Buyer beware. We made the mistake of not checking their reviews before buying from them. Over $3500 in repairs.

Beware make sure you check odometer reading of the car you are buying matches in the purchase agreement. Read the paper or document well dont get carried away cause you are excited buying the car that you want. Disappointed to Gary Loski ? thought he's an honest guy.

I just purchased a 2003 Honda Odyssey from Gary at Sensible Auto Sales. The van had been discounted after sitting on the lot for quite a long time but Gary was willing to work with me on the price further and I feel that I got a great deal for really quite a solid vehicle. He provided a Carfax report right up front and even though the van had been in a couple of accidents earlier in it's life, there was no major damage. The report showed that the car had been serviced regularly until the last 50,000 kilometers. It was quite obvious though that the van was in great condition for an eighteen year old vehicle. I'm quite confident that I will easily get another 100,000 kilometers from it without any major repairs. If people do their home work, there are excellent deals to be had. Gary is a really nice guy to work with and if your expectations are realistic, he will treat you right. Thanks, Gary!

Best dealership ever I was in need of a vehicle that same day and the salesmen was eager to assist, answered all my questions without hesitation unlike some dealerships. And I drove away with a car since their deals and prices are noting worth hesitating about that’s how great they are definitely going to go back to them for my next vehicle

Gary is a very caring salesman. We found our Van thanks to him and everything was impeccable for our Road Trip. He was available for all our questions and procedures because we had just arrived in Vancouver from France and we had a short deadline before making our trip to the USA.Advice, quality of vehicles and availability, I recommend Gary.THANKS
