Please please please don't buy any grains from this store. I recently bought Kabuli chana and black chana there were grain beetles or weevels in both the packets. I had to throw all. This store is way expensive than fruiticana. I am sharing my personal experience. Please don't go there.

I've been coming here for years now, and it's always been one of my go-to shops for spices and general South Asian ingredients. There's a wonderful broad selection of products to chose from, and it's run by a lovely family who are really helpful and kind. This is definitely a prime destination for those wanting to cook their own Indian food.

Wonderful local shop carrying a wide variety of spices and other ingredients for Indian cooking. After years of stopping at multiple shops around the city just to gather everything I need for a recipe… I was happy to discover Punjab Food Center. Now it’s a one stop shop for my (albeit basic) favourites - palak paneer, butter chicken, and aloo gobi.Friendly and helpful staff. Will be back again!

The most recent review here about the chef is plain funny and perhaps fake.I came here to buy some Indian staples and everything is twice as expensive as other Indian stores. For example, I got the 5kg bag of Aashirwad Atta for 16.99. Go to any other store on today’s date and you will see the 10kg bag is for $17. The namkeens also are twice as expensive. One of the noodles packets I bought was also damaged. The other reviews are a joke. The cashier doesn’t offer you itemized receipts either so god knows if the billing was even done accurately or not. Do yourself a favor and drive to another store. You will save some money.

I simply asked for a price of something over the phone and they would not give it to me. I know many stores do this, but why waste my time and gas to go there. It's a childish game. You're not going to make me come into your store and buy anything else anyways so just give me the price on the phone. No big deal. Now they have lost me as a customer and anybody else that I know.

I come here specifically for their cashews and other nuts. As well as a few other Indian items.The prices seem reasonable enough. Glad to support local stores.The owner at the till is also helpful at telling/showing you where everything is.
