Hi guys, this market has posted $1.99/Lb of persimmons on Facebook. I went to their address today at Main Street -Vancouver and bought 2 lbs and bought 2lbs of orange. The price should be $8.45 but the girl at the cashier ( she was wearing hijab) and shame on her attitude which doesn’t reflect the respect of Muslim or Hijabi girls. She charged me $10.45 and I was shocked. I asked her why the price is beyond the expectation? She realized that she charged my extra $2 and she said “ I’m sorry”, the price on Facebook was right but once you go to pay you will find the price is different from the actual price.
I told what will happens if I walk away and didn’t check the price? What will you do? She said I can’t return the difference to you next time which was so silly answer. I said but I’m not living close! How you gonna return the difference to me. Why the prices are different that the actual prices? I saw the add in Facebook and I came but I find something different at the cashier. She didn’t say anything and I walked away.
So I’m strongly recommend check what you are paying for at this store? Or ask before you pay since this experience is shocking me so bad since my brother is repeated customer at this place and their place at Fraser street too. So please take extra caution once you buy from them. Thank you

Polo Market at 6411 Main Street is my go-to grocery store! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The store is always clean and well-organized, making it easy to find everything you need.
The selection is fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh produce, high-quality meats, and a great range of organic and specialty items. The bakery section is a treat with delicious bread and pastries baked daily. I’m always impressed by the fresh, vibrant colors of the fruits and vegetables, and the meat department has some of the best cuts in town.
What sets Polo Market apart is their exceptional customer service. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to assist you with a smile. Whether you need help finding something or a recommendation for a recipe, they’re always there to lend a hand.
The prices are reasonable, and they often have great deals and discounts. Plus, the checkout process is quick and efficient, ensuring you’re in and out without any hassle.
I highly recommend Polo Market for anyone looking for a top-notch shopping experience. It’s clear they care about their customers and strive to provide the best service and products possible. Five stars all the way!

I saw the ads from Facebook market and went there for 1$ fresh potato as the advert says. The potato was not fresh it was flowering and the price was 2.4$. I support many places and I have very few low star comment. I try not to affect the businesses but this one was really something took my bad vibe. Okay 2.4$ is not that important in my dictionary but you can’t say fresh to product which is not food safe.

Last week, I purchased some frozen items from this shop and when i opened it after 1 day only, all the frozen items were full of fungus and it’s not even close to it’s expiry date. I was so disappointed by seeing that. Don’t purchase any frozen item from this shop.

Popped by on the way home, I haven't been there in a long time. Checked it out for a bit, I heard that they have some mexican foods which they do but not much. Much more east indian foods as the owner & or manager is east indian. I picked up some frozen jalapeno poppers n corn kebabs made by Nanak Foods in Surrey. Looking forward to try them.
