It appears Vancouver’s worst EV users love this station. More often than not, a driver would leave their EV plugged into the charger, completely unattended for extended periods (over a hour). This is a public charger, not your personal toy. If you want to charge for extended periods, do it at home.
This is suppose to be a 200kw fast charger. If you are plugged and only pulling a measly 20kw because you want that 100% then you are simply wasting your own time and everyone else’s time. Please use a level 2 charger to top up.
What’s more annoying is the station does not impose any type of rule on the charger. It literally encourages people to stay for as long as they want. In fact, there’s not even an idling fee for plugging in and not charging. No wonder so many people hate the EV crowd. Obviously the station staff can’t do jack to help.
If you want to meet some ignorant, entitled EV user this is the station to go.

Fast charger works so that's a plus

High power DC charger. Went early in the morning and it was available. Easy to activate and pay.
Only one car be charged at a time on the fast charger although there are two parking places. 0.5$ per min
There is also a level 2 charger.

Most of the times they are out of paper and not able to get receipts for the gas . Always needed to go inside and wait in the line for getting my receipts.
Using the same place for charging EVs as well. Never had issue with charging and speed was also good enough for me.
Employees were always helpful whenever I was in need.

Having 2 charging spots in a world where EVs are increasing in numbers every week, I don’t get to charge ~70% of the time.Last night, I had to ask the lady who was parked in the adjacent spot if she was going to use the charger as she was busy staring at her phone to not realize I had pulled up. She kindly moved so I didn’t have to park in the handicap spot to use the slow-charger. Went for a walk and buddy next to me was having some food delivered to his car which was kinda funny. When I got back to my car 20 min later, I was surprised to see he was still charging. So maybe 20 more minutes pass and I see a car parked behind me and I jumped out to ask her if she would like to charge her car as buddy could care less about other people…and it was the SAME lady from earlier who was apparently waiting for buddy to finish charging his car! So I was like ok, cool. I look over to see what %age he’s at…and he was at fricken 99%. Dude, did you JUST get your Tesla? Like, nobody does that. So it sat at 99% for 5 minutes then disconnected. But I don’t know what his deal was - he still didn’t get out and unplug. He doesn’t know my charger’s broken - I could have been waiting for it. He just wanted 100% charge and to waste everyone else’s time. Pretty selfish.So I believe the etiquette is no longer than 30 minutes or if you’re at 80%. If you have achieved either of those levels, unplug and share nicely with others!

It could be better if they made all pumps self service and offered full service to anyone that wanted it. The two outer pumps closest to street are often closed because they are full serve only. There is eight pumps, make them all self serve. One pump is permanently out of order. They no longer give receipts at the pump because it is either out of paper or broken. This is a common problem at all locations at this chain. They force you to go inside to get a receipt. The Indian inside is rude.

The ev fast charge doesn't work as Petro Canada's billing set up is flawed. Can't fast charge even with the app. Don't waste your time at this location lime I did!

Consistently posts online prices that are 10c cheaper than their actual prices. They also refuse to confirm prices via phone. I suspect staff are doing sthg dodgy.
