Quite pricey, and the steaks I've got have been poorly butchered. One side of the steak was 1" thick and then tapered to a point on the other side.

My wife and I have been getting our meat from this shop for the last couple months and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Best beef, lamb and chicken I have ever had! It's very nice knowing where your meat is coming from and the care that is given to the animals and the land :) Hoping they get their beef Leberwurst back soon cause it's the best.

This butcher shop provides top quality products and adheres to the provisions of biodynamic agriculture. It's meat is produced with extreme care which reflects a sensitivity not found with industrial agriculture. It is truly a wonderful alternative to traditional meat processing products and is definitely a preferred choice of discriminating clientele. Enjoy the superior offerings of this unique provider.

Staff are unfriendly and unprofessional, the meat is overpriced, and the store is dirty. I overheard horror stories about the owner who lives in the Williams Lake Area. Animal abuse and neglect, and she treats her own staff like caddle.

This is the BEST butcher in Vancouver. Period. Pasture to Plate has no peers. Bone broth is out of this world. Commercial Drive is very lucky to have them.

The quality of meat at this butcher shop is incredible. I make it a point to get my meats from here. The staff are friendly and I believe the meat comes from a biodynamic farm which I feel. I strongly recommend for folks who prioritize quality to check this place out.

Excited to do my first order and try many different items. The Lamb shank had an extremely rubbery texture and not much flavour. Maybe a one-off? Then I cooked Beef short ribs and had the same rubbery, non edible issue. I emailed my complaint as it was quite puzzling and the response was that I must have either cooked it too long or on too high a temperature. I have 50 years experience cooking meats, so blaming the customer is not a great strategy here. I left 2 stars as there are a couple other items I have yet to try, but I expected a much better quality at this premium price. Plenty of other butchers.

I don't often write google reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this exceptional local butcher shop in Vancouver. One of many things that sets them apart is their unique distinction as the only Demeter-certified butcher in the area, which speaks volumes about their commitment to quality and sustainable farming practices. This family-owned farm-to-table establishment not only offers an impressive array of grass-fed AND finished cuts but also boasts a delightful assortment of artisanal charcuterie and high-quality cheeses and dairy products. What truly stands out, apart from their exceptional offerings, is the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Their knowledge and willingness to assist customers make the shopping experience all the more enjoyable. If you're looking for a butcher shop that not only supports local, family farms but also holds the prestigious Demeter certification, I highly recommend giving this place a visit. It's a gem in the heart of Vancouver's culinary scene.

Don’t normally review places but had to leave one for this great local butcher shop. Awesome selection of grass fed cuts, really good charcuterie and nice cheeses/dairy. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Commercial drive is like main street in a small town, a funky small town, and Pasture to Plate fits right in with the country butcher, natural, use the whole animal orientation and the friendly and helpful staff. The meat is organic AND grass fed and better prices than at other places.

A great local butcher – they sell quality meats, care about their cuts, and carry a nice selection of "meat accessories" like stocks, mustards, rubs, etc.Their service is consistently friendly, and they provide good advice for cut selection and preparation. Also love the fact that by using a proper butcher you're avoiding much of the waste – plastic, styrofoam – that you get from supermarket shopping.

Just picked up a huge bag of meat! Love this place, such a helpful staff and the quality is truly amazing! Such a different taste from a regular grocery store!

Meat quality isn’t great. I took home a piece of pork belly still covered in hairs + got some red meat that ended up being boarderline off. It was brown, tacky to the touch with an odd smell.

Great cuts of meat (best on the drive) all BC raised on an actual farm and ethically harvested. Knowledgeable staff as well.
