This is one of my favourite places to shop & I shop there quite often. I so dislike their new checkout area. It is horrible. I feel for the staff who have to work there now with the cold weather upon us. With that door opening and closing they are going to be freezing. They need to come up with a better plan/layout.Providing hoodies is not going to cut it. Their legs will be freezing. Mine were today as the door kept opening and closing. People use that door to enter the store as well as leaving the store. There are often 2 lines to check out too.Today the gal that served me was cleaning, didn’t change her gloves and wash her hands, and after she handed my food over in its container, she proceeded to wipe her nose with her hand and didn’t change her gloves.A couple of weeks ago I purchased bread that had bugs crawling around inside the plastic wrap.Some days I’m not impressed with shopping there. Some days it all depends on who is working. It’s just not as up to par as it used to be.Today Dec 13: new postHow hard can it be? I would like very thinly sliced Tuscany ham. You get home and it’s thick sliced. They were looking at you when you asked. So frustrating.

Just shopped here today and I’m giving one star for the terrible service I have received. I have shopped here over the years, and the service used to be fine- not great, but not bad either. Fine. Ppl have their moments. However, today’s service was horrendous - one star doesn’t even begin to describe it. Staff at the deli counter was beyond apathetic; they acted like I, the customer, were a rude interruption; there was no verbal acknowledgement whatsoever from one of the ladies who served me; she turned sideways staring out the window, when I tried to order, so I wasn’t even sure she was actually going to serve me; the merchandise was thrown at me on the counter.The place wasn’t busy at all, so it’s not like staff was busy, and working under pressure.I walked away in shock: never have I ever had this experience in a store. I couldn’t even shake it off on the drive home. Everything was inexplicably rude to a level that made me walk away stunned.Let me put it this way: I love their tarama salata, but today’s experience put me off this place for good.

Great place , I only get the Moussaka, Lasagna and Greek salad there. All good! Was a bit disappointed when they raised their prices by $2 per but then recently brought down by a $1. It was such a great value meal for $9.95 but doable at $10.95. Anymore and you can get bigger portions at Olympia restaurant

Best take-out moussaka trays- delicious and affordable- honestly why cook? You have to order ahead and give extra time for pick up because they're pretty busy. 5 stars for moussaka!

We recently visited Parthenon with the intention of recreating an authentic Greek experience for dinner complete with Greek pita, olives, tzatziki, feta… only to find the pita not holding up to or expectations. How disappointing to find that the pita broke in 2 pieces when folding for presenting to my esteemed guests. An embarrassment to put it mildly. A deluge of Tzatziki on all our guests pants. I offered to do their dry cleaning. The least I can do. The following week we used the same disastrous pies for pizza and am pleased to report success! Remember, when you want to make an Italian pizza and not a souvlaki, use the baked in Greece pita.

Really like thisMarket, but on a Saturday morning, only one cashier in a huge lineup. That could be improved. One up at the counter to get deli and then I will longer lineup to pay for it.

Ordered 9 falafel. Had to wait 15 minutes for the first 6. Person told me they hadn't cooked the last 3 yet. Waited 10 more minutes for 3 more. Burnt and tiny. Handful of pebbles for 15 dollars. No mention of how long i had to wait. Oh well.

I went in yesterday afternoon to buy a hazelnut spread. Got it, paid and just before I walk away from the cashier, I checked the expiry date. In my shock, not one, not two months ago had it expired but ELEVEN months ago and sold for 7,95$. Now don’t tell me they haven’t fixed that shelf for one year. I went back to get another one but they were all expired.What a disappointment. I hope they take them off the shelf..

Nice place with good service. Prices are a tad higher but their overhead must be pricey.Was asked if I needed assistance and given suggestions for dishes. Nice touch!Has a nice array of olives, the Tangerine spicy ones were amazing with a Spanish evening of Seafood Paella and Manchego cheeses. They have a nice hot food corner too!

Staff was excellent, products excellent, and the deli was wonderful I highly recommend getting their spinach pies reminds me the time I visited Athens Greece
