Store has friendly staff and a good selection, but in a dangerous neighborhood! The Granville Island Store is a safer option which I will be using in the future!

I bought 3 brushes of different sizes 0,1 and 000 when it was registered they registered 2 numbers 0 and 1 number 1. Today I went to exchange and it was not possible to exchange because they had not registered exactly what I wanted to exchange. As a result, I couldn't make the exchange because of a store error and the attendant said keep it as an extra. If I wanted an extra I wouldn't waste my time to go and exchange it.

most stuff here is pretty expensive but not unreasonably so, good selection generally and surprisingly fantastic supply and price on canvasses specificallywill be back, my usual spot for picking up supplies.

Places like these are an adventure.. the infinite possibilities and combinations. Need some help with watercolours and the staff were very helpful. The front counter lady was awesome as well, knowledgeable! Definitely need to visit, not your average art store.
