Initially I thought their clothes looks nice on my friend, so I started buying stuff online. One time I went to the store at Metrotown to return two pairs of pants which cost $197, the cashier asked me to tap my card for the refund so I did, and I think it was prob the next one or two days I checked my Visa card online transaction found out they charged me $197 instead of refund me!! So I called the store and they refund me the total amount. I wasn’t upset until similar situation happened to me again yesterday. So on Oct 30th I placed another order online for in store pick up at Coquitlam Center (usually you have 7 days to pick up), so on Nov 6th, a girl from the Coquitlam store called asked if I still want to pick up the top, I said not anymore, and she confirmed to me that they dont charge anything if an item is not picked up. Yesterday, I happened to check my visa online statement, I WAS CHARGED $88 for not buying anything. Of course I had to called the store again ( their customer service is not that great like always), after explaining what happened and provide them with all the info they need, they said they will refund me, finally I got an email from them saying the money has been refunded. But it’s still not showing on my visa online transaction. I know all the store tells you the refund takes like 3-7 biz days, but most the places I shop the refund shows in few minutes when I log in to my bank. I am really upset that similar incident happened twice, I hopeI get my $88 back this time. for those of you who shop at oak and fort, make sure you keep your receipts and watch for your bank statements. I won’t let this happen the 3rd time! Because I am not buying stuff from them anymore!

I want to give a shout out to Louise, the store manager of the gastown location. I was being a pain as a customer and she was very patient, made the experience fun, and problem solved with me so that I left 100% satisfied. Thank you Louise and Oak&Fort for being great at what you do!

Great customer service. Found greaten pants between their small men section. Wish they increase their men section and we can see option. Looking forward to visit and look at there new collection soon.

While shopping at oak in fort in gastown, I was approached by the store manager who made me feel extremely uncomfortable. This woman will not leave you alone to shop. We shared about how we both work in customer service, she overwhelmed me with details about her experience at my workplace that didn’t involve me. It was so rude as a customer to experience such an unprofessional attitude. She needs to learn that her behaviour and gossip is not welcome.

First time going to their flagship store, I was amazed at the interior. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The dressing rooms are nice as well. Overall a great store !!

First time in this store and had a good experience. Was expecting high prices based on the look and feel but they were quite affordable. Staff were helpful and attentive. Found real pearl earrings in the jewelry section that I ended up purchasing (again, great price). I’d come back!

SCAM. This review is for the online store.(1) Bought a dress from the online store, unfortunately it didn't fit. Tried to return it and was told there would be no proper refund - only store credit. At the time I tried to be nice and and avoided a fuss, accepted the store credit.(2) Tried to use said store credit to purchase a sweater online. It said the sweater was in stock for store pick up. Had to follow up for 8 days before I was told actually the store didn't have stock, and again, NO REFUND. Only store credit.(3) Tried AGAIN to use store credit. Unfortunately half the stuff on the website is out of stock even when the photo says "back in stock" or you set the filters for "online only" and size. Examples in photos.(4) and yes, I've attempted to contact customer service multiple times before giving this review. They replied to me 3 times each time copy and pasting the same message "Thank you for reaching out to us! We can confirm that we are unable to transfer the amount ___"TLDR: store does not give proper refunds, only store credit. Except its close to impossible to use said store credit. Avoid the online store

I have been shopping at oak and fort for past few years, and love the product and styles. Though recently I haven’t been getting the same experience I was before. It hasn’t been the same after Trey left. I was sad to hear he left because he gave really fun and genuine experience and had really good style and style tips. The girls here are nice but just not the same. Hope he come back soon haha!

I purchased 3 items online. Non of them fit so I went in to return them. The return policy is very confusing. Please look at the return policy very carefully or don't buy anything on this site. I did not get a refund for anything. I would not recommend shopping online at this store. Very disappointed.

Great store in Gastown, my girlfriend spent an hour in here grabbing some great new clothes. Very friendly staff, I believe his name was Greg but he was very helpful and enthusiastic. Enjoyed being the boyfriend of the shopper, cool spot.

I usually do a big shop in the spring and I decided to shop and Oak + Fort to spruce up my wardrobe. I went to this store twice and bought some great pieces and both times, the staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave me honest fashion suggestions. I'll be back!

had a pretty bad experience with one of the staff members on the phone today (may 18)...yesterday, had ordered some things online to be picked up in store with a discount code. today, I got an email saying there was an “inventory error” and they didn’t actually have one of the items in store so I would be refunded. I called the store and asked if they were able to honour the discount code if I bought something similar in the store to replace the item they made the inventory error on.the guy who answered the phone wasn’t helpful at all :( he told me he’d speak to his manager and was gone for about 2 seconds before he told me he couldn’t do anything. he said “i just work here” and he said “if you want to complain you can call the head office”. he gave me a number that i called to see if they could honour my discount online instead but it went straight to voicemail.i called the store back and the manager answered who was ACTUALLY helpful!! she asked me for my order number and turns out they did have the item in stock, whoever had put my order together made the mistake. not sure why the original guy didn’t look into this... he never even asked me what item it was that i had ordered.for such an expensive store i kinda expect better customer service from the people working there. I’m hoping i just caught him on a bad day or something!
