I've been there about 5 times now. Despite making appointments, and even if taking it in at 8am, they consistently take the entire day to complete a task, so don't assume you will be able to do anything else on your service day. A basic oil change took 6 hours. Workmanship isn't consistent - I had engine issues that began only after visiting for a service, which they later had to correct. Pricing seems to be on the very high end (400 quoted for a new battery.)

I used Champlain Auto for a pre-purchase inspection of a used car. Peter was incredibly helpful, thorough and knowledgeable. He was also generous with his time, in terms of explaining things to me. The cost of the inspection was well worth it, as it saved me from buying a car with issues.

Don’t waste your time… I don’t recommend this repair shop to anyone Terrible Customer Service I took my vehicle for a repair and 5 business days went by no diagnostic on my vehicle no phone call from them all they did was park my vehicle a block away on the street When I called them all I got was a Lame excuse so of course I asked for my key back. I’ll take my vehicle to a real PROFESSIONAL Repair shop this time.

This place is dishonest and expensive.I brought in my Civic 2013 requesting just charge top up for the battery. They called me back 20minutes later saying I need a new battery and wants $360 for it. $360! Can you believe it...I said too expensive and they lowered it to $290. I said forget it and they still charged me $50 for "diagnostic". Even though Pete told me over the phone it only cost $25 for a battery charge top up. Yea sure those are different things but I'm sure these guys will gouge you for whatever they can.Took my car to another shop that quoted me $180 to replace battery. However, they ran a battery test and showed me result my battery still has 70% life left! So they only had to top up my battery and I was good to go. All for only $80.Champlain's NAPA left a bad taste in my mouth. Exorbitant price and dishonest people.
