Feb 2, 2024. We went back to this Montblanc Alberni St store because we had received IMPECCABLE SERVICE FROM MUSI CIFTCI when my daughter bought her fountain pen and ink cartridges and my son bought his ink cartridges from him. MUSI IS TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL, WARM AND ATTENTIVE AND SO VERY CARING. We were disappointed that when we visited the store today that we could not once again see Musi’s beautiful and radiant smile BUT RECEIVED EQUALLY TOP-NOTCH SERVICE FROM LISA AND JENNY.We went to many Montblanc stores in Hong Kong and head office at Montblanc should give SPECIAL PRAISE to their staff in Hong Kong (various locations) and PARTICULARLY MONTBLANC ALBERNI ST FOR THEIR ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY EXCELLENT SERVICE. WELL DONE TO ALL YOUR WONDERFUL STAFF—thank you!

I needed to get one of my fountain pens authenticated by Montblanc, and was helped by Karen. She was both very professional and helpful throughout the whole process by giving me a heads-up from time to time on what stage my pen was at - all during the busy season of the Christmas holidays. Her follow-ups provided me an absolute peace-of-mind for my pen. Many thanks again to Karen for the awesome customer service!

I have been a loyal Montblanc customer for many years, valuing their iconic brand and quality products. However, my recent experience at the downtown Vancouver store was deeply disappointing and fell short of the high standards I’ve come to expect from Montblanc.Last week, I purchased a business bag from this store but decided to exchange it today. During the exchange process, I was informed that I couldn’t receive a refund for the balance and was compelled to buy an additional accessory, which I didn’t really need. This practice seemed unfair, especially considering the high value of the transaction.Moreover, as a gesture to ‘satisfy’ my shopping experience, I was offered a tube of leather care as a gift for my purchase of around $3,000. This token felt insignificant and did not align with the luxury and customer-focused image of Montblanc.The behavior of the sales manager was particularly unprofessional. She was constantly engaged with her cell phone, showed a lack of concern for my dissatisfaction, and did not attempt to address my concerns. This level of service is not what I expected from Montblanc, a brand I have respected and patronized for its exceptional products like pens and notebooks.This experience has unfortunately tainted my view of Montblanc, and I am now hesitant to return to this store. I hope this feedback prompts an improvement in customer service to match the esteemed reputation of Montblanc products.

On a long-weekend I brought in a MB fountain pen acquired from overseas to do engraving on the cap. The boutique took my request and recommended a number of fonts that will look good on the pen, and told me that generally it takes 30 minutes but because the engraver isn’t there on Sunday it will have to be a Monday pickup. I received a call on Monday morning and picked up the pen. The engraving was exactly how i wanted it. Overall it was a fast and easy process.

Their service was exceptional from start to finish.In particular, Karen provided us the tailor-made service experience. She and her team paid close attention to detail and really listened to our needs. We were searching for the perfect pen to celebrate my employee's professional designation, and they provided excellent suggestions, which helped us find just the right one. My family went in on 21/08/2023 to browse the pens, and ended up purchasing my very first Montblanc fountain pen – an engraved StarWalker! We had visited the Montblanc boutique previously, just to browse, and Musi took the time and care to explain the features of the pens in question. Musi helped us again and never pressured us into buying anything. Rather, he patiently waited while we found a pen within our budget even though we came in close to closing. Musi is super!

I’m writing this review and actually I’m so pissed with what I experienced yesterday. The reason I’m still leaving 3 stars became at the first time visit and purchase I was satisfied with the service and product. After I started using my bag, and after few days I noticed there are few scratches on it but I don’t think it caused by me and I called the sales person for this issue. Unexpectedly she said i can get a brand new one and i was so appreciated by getting such a good warranty and service so i put the second star. Since i was 18, I’ve been a fan of Montblanc till today, and I still like the product,s. So I give the third star. But the horrible experience happened yesterday which made me will not go back to this alberni boutique anymore and also let ppl know before they visit. There’s a decorative stitches on the front surface and I admit that I didn’t take good care of the bag so it caused the stitches loosing up. But the bag is only less than 8 months use so it is under warranty and I messaged the sales person for this issue. In the messages she said this model is no longer exist and repaired center can’t do anything to it, but I could do product exchange.but before got into the boutique I didn’t have time to check out the website what model they carry right now. After I got there the sales person and the ‘manager’(I don’t feel like she’s the manager since the way she deal with this issue ) only gave two ways, 1.purchase a more expensive product and paid for the difference. 2, they can’t do anything which means the warranty is nothing after more than 7 months, such a luxury brand repair center can’t just repair a little minor loosen stitch? Why still put Montblanc on magazines and advertisements? Regardless this point, after she told me I could exchange different products and I replied “I feel so bad to give you such work again.’ Then she directly said when would I visit them, and I assumed their purpose was just trying push me addd money to get a another model, and the tone she spoke in Chinese even made me feel like it’s ripped off( I only a option for you, add money buy another one otherwise keep using your worn bag), I really want to ask ppl who read all my words here and do you think a salesperson and a manager who work at such a boutique should present this way to deal with such a issue? It not that I can’t add more money, but I just can’t find any model i really interested. Plus since the beginning she gave me the answer and the tone of her speeches in person which pissed me off so much. She could’ search any other location and see if still has the same model before asking me to come over but she just didn’t and purposely want to push customer buy a new one.and that maybe help her commission things. Just think it normally, the bag only use few months and still under warranty why would I suddenly add more money and can’t find one I like ? I share this story just want to let people know the way they deal with this issue is really sucks, I can’t accept that at all, this sales person just degrading Montblanc like dollars store . I’m not saying Montblanc is bad, but the staff should be equipped to deal with such a minor issue, especially a salesperson. End up I directly contact the customer service, and I also got a very happy response. Totally different, such so different compared to the salesperson. I hope the store manager can see this and add more training to this person. The reputation of this boutique is well known in this neighbourhood actually, i was too late got to know . Anyway i will not come back here again i rather purchase online.

Terrible return policy, brought my wallet for exchange, as soon as I entered the sales associate was scrutinizing me (I am brown skinned and walked in with a backpack since I was bring in my wallet for return). After 'bringing the wallet in the back for inspection' they determined the wallet was unfit for return. I have attached pictures of the wallet I tried to return today so that future customers can see what kind of condition the wallet was in.

I had the pleasure of talking to Musi regarding few writings instruments that I purchased. He listened to what my needs were, was prompt and transparent throughout with communication, and displayed a true caring attitude. He was mindful of my budget, never pushy, while still being uncompromising regarding what I wanted. I am glad that I have met Musi. And , whoever want to buy Montblanc precious products .

My wife and I had such excellent services from Musi that we will shop at the Montblanc Boutique only if he is available there. Whether it was for an expensive purchase, or just a maintaince repair issue, Musi was there to help with care and attention. Also appreciated his sense of humour and knowledge on Montblanc products.

I don't trust that this location knows it's own products.I inherited a mont blanc pen I wanted serviced. A staff person told me it was a fake and not worth sending as I'd be charged for authenticating because she was sure it was a fake.Well I sent it in to the service shop in Mississauga on my own dime after my research suggested it was indeed a real mont Blanc pen and they agreed, authenticating it There was a distinct physical feature that was on vintage pens up to a certain year that aren't on new ones, which is what her assumption was based on.Not only were they unable to accurately identify their own product at the boutique, I was made to feel quite embarrassed by the whole interaction.Do not recommend this boutique
