Ming is a gentleman. He doesn't do credit cards so have cash on you. He replaced the catch on my 10k gold neck chain, while I waited, and charged me $35. He's in the Vancouver Block on Granville which requires identification to let you in. I dialed him at 0514, asked for Ming, identifying myself, and he buzzed me in. He's on the 5th floor in a teeny tiny workshop, where he has everything at his fingertips. Call him before you come at (604) 682-0417 so he'll know you when you buzz him.

Mings Jewellery is very efficient at any jewellery repair. I have had gold 5 necklaces repaired (were broken), several watch batteries replaced and a watch fixed. The turnover for repair is very fast.

Ming repaired my mom's engagement ring and cleaned it, while I waited. The diamond solitaire had fallen off. His office door was opened and he was wearing a mask. He buzzed me into the building on a Saturday afternoon, where it seemed like a lot of establishments were closed. He's engaging and professional. From now on, I will get all my jewelry repairs from Mings, he's legit.

The jeweller, Kenneth Lau, is absolutely amazing! He helped me put together a specific pendant I've had in mind for a long while, as well as help me find the perfect chain for my other solitaire. He works out of a tiny shop on the fifth floor (you need to buzz in to get to the shop, so maybe give him a call first and let him know you're coming!) He knows his trade and makes sure you are getting what you want, not the other way around. He is a pleasure to work with! I will definitely be returning to him for any further jewellery plans.
