too expensive. some good items. Good coffee and breakfast muffins with egg, bacon, ham or tomato: 5.39, much better than McDonald's. $13 eggs in grocery section. 1.99 Dr. Pepper can of pop. Regular cheese 7.99. Pastries and cookies mostly $4.99.

Their baked goods have shockingly reasonable prices relative to their shelf items, and the ginger sandwich cookies are consistently the best cookies I've ever eaten.

Very Friendly staff, and a very nice selection of high quality groceries, hot foods, and most importantly their desserts! ?Just wish I had the money to afford some of the stuff in here. Heheheh!

As much as I love the quality and variety of Meinhardt's, I am not a fan of this location. It's extremely small and with all the products crammed into such a small area, there is no room to wait at the deli plus you are in the way of customers coming in the store and don't get me started about the snaking check-out lineup with only one, slow clerk. Heaven forbid if there was ever an emergency as there is only a single way in and out.Horrible place to shop. I'll stick with the Granville Street location.

I have been gracing this area for several years as it’s very convenient to walk from my workplace. The rest of my co workers are also coming to this location. I love their scones, fruit tarts and chicken curry same thru their Vegan brownies. Having a food safe certification and food being the business of my company. I brought into their staff’s attention mutiple times about “mouse infestation “. It is really concerning to buy loaf of bread and you can see the plastic bag with holes, crumbs falling off from the inside. They just apologized and don’t really know if they inform the management. Last week I was buying boxed cookies and treats for my team for thanksgiving and oh my goodness I pulled a box of cookies from the top metal rack loaded with tons of mouse pee and feces that I touched myself. It grossed me out that I decided to drop all that I am purchasing. Called the attention of the cashier and he stared at me and was speechless ? I emailed Vancouver Coastal Health on this as well just an FYI. I am more concerned on people having to consume their products and are not knowledgeable in terms of food safety. Hope this gets looked into as the location is amazing same thru with the service in all fairness.

Sadly not the same anymore. Before Covid I went once or twice a week for lunch. Everything was always fresh and their soups were amazing!! Not anymore. The soup was bland and barely hot - very disappointing. I bought a pre-made salad, the lettuce “you can’t see” was brown and soggy…pretty gross. They are expensive but used to be worth it. Luckily there are so many other amazing restaurants downtown!

As a grocery store, this place features incredibly substandard produce for the price. The ginger I bought today was exorbitantly expensive and had nearly all gone bad - I was able to salvage just enough for my dinner.As a convenience store, this place features nicer products at a dollar or so mark up on what you would pay at the downtown grocery stores.As a lunch spot, I can't say.Overall, convience matters, but if you have taken the time to read a Google review, you can probably just walk somewhere else.

I really like that place, the staff is normally nice and supportive and the food super tasty, they have a lot of variety. Not one of the cheapest, but quality is great
