Lots of excellent meat choices. Very helpful staff. Competitive pricing. Local product. I will be shopping there many more times.We just got our Christmas order and we screwed up. We phoned and talked to some very helpful staff and then returned to the store. The problem was explained to the owner and he personally looked after resolving the issue. Top draw customer service, that's why we shop there.

I went today and ate the salisbury steak, it was the best salisbury steak I've ever had.Nov 17th edit: Whoever cooks the ready made meals is doing an incredible job, everytime I go there's something delicious!

Market meats has been a staple in the neighborhood of Kerrisdale and Kits! All the staff are phenomenal and always willing to go the extra mile to help me create my perfect dinner menu. It’s been great to see how much Zul the owner not only provides for the people in Kerrisdale but gives back to the community without hesitation! I will one hundred percent be coming back

Extremely disappointed. My mother in law purchased 4 rib eye steaks at a premium ($200 total). She essentially paid restaurant pricing for our dinner that we needed to prepare ourselves. At that price you’d think the meat would be perfect but trust me when I say the steaks were so chewy and tough if I had to guess she bought them from Walmart. Save your money and either go to Costco for your meats or just eat out. At least you can send your food back if it’s horrible.

Nice store but was recently shocked, on two accounts.Firstly, fresh halibut at $64 per pound and secondly, when purchasing a packet of prepackaged bacon, was given the card machine which requested a tip be added !!! Since when do butchers get tipped for selling us their products. I find this outrageous."Tip creeping" is a well documented phenomena across many businesses these days.Having a tipping option on your card processing has the effect of "guilting" some people, particularly the vulnerable elderly or new arrivals, into tipping where this would normally not have been a consideration. And as far as your below comment, very professional !
