I used to live by Fujiya but since I’ve moved, this is the closest Japanese Shopping Center. Love the Sanrio chocolates, the Wakame (frozen), and onigiri! I buy their various frozen products to make my own poke bowl.Clean store. Great place to buy treats for your kiddos too! 4 stars because they seem to run out of onigiri each time I go there.

I noticed that this grocery store had high ratings so I decided to buy the fish for my first attempt at making sushi from here at the last minute. The fish turned out to be pretty decent, and was available at a low price. However, I realized later that the mackerel (Saba) I had purchased was from China, which I am not fond of. Unfortunately, it was too late to return the item. In spite of this, I found the store to be very clean and organized, and it offers a wide range of products. Although I won't be purchasing mackerel from here again unless it's from Alaska, I will still continue to shop here for other supplies.

I’m so happy they opened this location. Lots of Japanese Grocery products, cold drinks, frozen goods and fresh onigiri daily.I recommend the Kelp Konbu!Also, they recently added a soft serve machine and offer vanilla and matcha cones! A perfect summer treat.Staff are all super friendly and welcoming. Pop in if you’re looking for a snack or Japanese staples for cooking at home.

Good place to get some stuff, expensive but that's expected, it's all imported stuff.I'm a fan of the hachi super hot curry. I miss that stuff a lot.

Very happy to have this Japanese store in Kerrisdale. I used to have to go to East Broadway for my Japanese tea fix. I get all my Japanese needs there e.g. Japanese green tea with roasted rice, matcha, sesame oil, sesame seeds, various spice mixes, packaged miso mix, yakisoba and ramen varieties.... As well, I bought some nice ceramic dishes here. They have several different designs. And this summer they brought in vanilla and matcha soft serve! What more could you want?
