I've brought my car here a few times now and the service is always great. Stewart is always very transparent and honest about pricing, and you never feel like they're trying to upsell on unnecessary services.

I needed a water pump replacement on Friday of a long weekend they were able to accommodate me last minute get the part delivered and do the replacement before the days end. I thought I would have to cancel my weekend trip but they took care of me and got me back on the road before it was to late. Very grateful I will keep bringing my vehicle back in the future.

I have been going to see Stewart with my old Rav4 for the past two years and he has been kind, honest and given great advice. He's fixed issues on very short notice and even waved a tire-change fee for me because I had bad luck purchasing secondhand tires. Overall great service and would recommend to anyone.

Stewart is amazing. He has helped me so much with a 3rd gen Toyota 4Runner that holds significant sentimental value. He always takes the time to explain everything and make sure I understand. It’s easy to see why his shop is busy. Deep appreciation for you guys!

Absolute life savers. Called the shop on a Thursday with a seized alternator. After expressing I need my car for work, I was able to get the car to them on Thursday night and they finished it Friday night. Price was as quoted and fair. Will be going back for regular maintenance and repairs.

After experiencing a complete failure of my clutch, I had my car towed here for repairs at the recommendation of a friend. I have an older car that is no longer mass produced and they were able to replace the clutch at a very reasonable price. I appreciated the pictures and video of my car and they also showed me the old components that were removed/replaced and why. I am so grateful for my friend’s recommendation for Kartek and compliments to Stewart who was fantastic!

Before buying a car, I opted for a pre-purchase inspection, and they provided me with a comprehensive and meticulous list of everything that was right and wrong with the vehicle. I ended up buying the car and since then, I have been relying on them for various services like brake pads and more.However, during my last visit to have the headlight replaced, they informed me that the previous owner had installed an irregular car socket, making it necessary for me to search for a specific light bulb. This news surprised me, and I was reluctant to go through the hassle of finding the exact bulb. They also offered an alternative, suggesting that they could convert the socket back to its original form, but it would cost $200-$300. I was quite upset and indecisive about what to do.Finally, after spending two weeks searching online, I managed to find the irregular light bulbs. When I attempted to change them myself, I made a discovery - the light sockets were still in their original state! There was no need for me to purchase expensive, unusual headlight bulbs.Now, I can't help but wonder if they provided me with false information or simply made a mistake. It's rather unexpected for professionals to make such an error during a routine headlight replacement.Again, they are professionals and I will probably take my car there again. However, this was my experience with them and I need a clear explanation for such a mistake.

I always go by this place and just recently, today, I went in to get my tires swapped from winter to summer. After booking an appointment beforehand tbf. Solid service, valet my car and even individually wrapped my winter tires after. Definitely would come back for another time if the opportunity arises.

I’m going to try to be very honest and brief on my review, but above all, FAIR.I’ve been a customer there for over two years, mostly doing season tires changes, but also some other services such as breaks and related issues. I’ve also recommended a few friends to this shop but I’ll leave it up to them to give their own review. The bottom line here is: I liked the service, hence, I kept coming back and referring to the shop.Unfortunately, today everything changed. I brought my car in for the regular tire change, and asked Stu to check the break levels, which I was already expecting to be low.As he called me to confirm, he mentioned that more parts needed to be changed – something completely out of my knowledge, and as part of my due diligence I wanted to ask questions to understand what he was describing. Stu reacted poorly and unprofessionally to my questions, and yelled at me on the phone, claiming I was being “challenging”. Our entire interaction lasted for about 5 minutes, and even after literally saying: “Stu, calm down, I’m just trying to understand what you are saying here.” he kept on with the attitude and trying to hang up the phone as fast as possible, showing discontentment and anger. This was honestly a shocking interaction.Asking questions about my own car and what the repairs meant are in my view, 100% acceptable. I don’t go on in life just saying yes to things just because someone said so.In summary:Service Quality: Ok – Never had issues.Price: Average tending to high.Customer service experience: Very low, avoid if you can.Stu, I’m leaving Kartek with two stars today, as a bonus based on previews services, and sadly looking for a new shop for my next upcoming services, as I will never give you the opportunity to be rude with me again. Also, no more referrals.Service: Tires
