Really cool place, owner lets you try whatever you want no questions asked!I bought a headphone from here recently and had some issues, came back in and he offered a full refund. Great customer service.

Came in 3 or 4 times prior to buying anything and tried a lot of headphones on, the owner was super patient about it.The price was $400 cheaper than amazon before tax (Arya Organic), this is the only place in Vancouver where you can try on luxury headphones, and Travis was really helpful, his suggestions were on point. He didn't try and upsell me things I didn't need, and even though it was busy he took the time to help meSuper happy with the experience.

I’ve bought from here a few times. I usually already know what I want to buy there before visiting and just audition to make sure. Nice little shop but I do have to agree with another review of the owner being a little elitist. He just assumes you’re completely new to audio if you try more entry level gears. Besides that, owner is friendly. Would visit again.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY ON LINE FROM THIS BUSINESS AS THEIR BUSINESS MODEL IS BASED ON FRAUD.I placed two seperate orders with Headphone Bar, both through PayPal. One order was for Fiio R7 in the amount of $1064 including shipping and gst. The other order was for Fiio PL50 in the amount of $249.I sent an e mail to the seller asking for shipping information and was told that both of my orders have been sent in the same Expedited Parcel. This should have been a red flag for me.When I received the parcel I found that it only contained the Fiio PL 50 and the Fiio R7 ( cost of $1064 ) was not in the parcel.I sent an e mail to the seller within minutes of receiving the parcel and asking him where is the Fiio R7. In response TRAVIS RICE, the owner, said that both the orders were supposed to be in the same parcel unless someone took the Fiio R7 and asked me to provide the photographs of parcel and packaging, which I sent immediately. In responseTravis stated that he will get back to me shortly and may come to pick up the packaging on Wednesday. This I felt as a bit odd as the seller is in Vancouver and I am in Edmonton but still I told him that he is most welcome and that I am keeping the packaging safe with me. TRAVIS also said that he will get back to me shortly but I have not heard back from him since last three days, despite of sending him reminders to get back to me with an update. TRAVIS has disappeared completely as he is not responding at all.Maybe I should have felt something fishy when I was told that both orders are sent in the same pacel. I have proof of my statements in the form of e mail exchanges With TRAVIS RICE. So for anyone needing proof, I can forward the e mails.Anyway, I initially wanted to get this resolved amicably with the seller without asking PayPal to step in but the seller has forced me to ask PayPal to step in and protect me with its buyer protection measures.Travis can hide from me but he will have to provide answers to PayPal.I have now read the Google reviews of other customers and it is clear that whenever there is any problem with a product and customers complain, Travis just disappears into thin air.Based on my experience and how the business has dealt with my complaint, Headphone Bar deliberately commits fraud with on line shopping customers.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HEADPHONE BAR AND ITS OWNER TRAVIS.UPDATE: Today I finally received my refund thanks to PayPal. Mr Travis was unable to provide any answer to PayPal.

Great purchasing experience and help with RMA when my product unfortunately failed shortly after purchase. Not 5 stars, because I found 0 phone/email support or responses when I would reach out for updates. Only way to get updates was to physically go to the store.

Favourite local shop for headphones, earphones, amps, and more, with a decent-sized selection at fair prices. In my experience the owner has been very responsive via email and has provided great customer service (both online and in-person). A lot of headphones are available for demo in-store, although I do wish there were IEMs available for demo as well. Definitely worth checking out Headphone Bar for your audio gear needs!

Saw the reviews on the focal bathys. It was time to treat myself. Travis at the headphone bar was the place to demo them . Best place to get some knowledge and Travis said to try them with my cell phone first vs buying a fiio m11s. Great advice he was right I've had my focals bathys using my flagship phone after breaking them in for a week now and it's been fantastic so far using Amazon hd music.see you again Travis when I have more wants in the future ?

Don't shop here if you value customer service. They do not stand by their products and do not reply to inquiries about returns/exchanges/warranties as evidenced by my experience and other reviews left here.

No answer for an Exchange of my product. Want to upgrade for a more expensive, they never reply to my 3 emails and now, the 15 days is past.Very disapointed

I had read that this place has many demo headphones, so I decided to check it out while on vacation in Vancouver. I do not regret that I did it, because I had the opportunity to listen to the headphones that I had been eyeing for a long time. You can listen to the headphones using your phone/computer, you can also listen using the equipment on site. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Greetings from Latvia.

I was really excited to check out this store and enter the hifi audio world.I was excited to learn and question my knowledge thus far and I was met with Gatekeeping, and elitism.All questions and inquiries were met with him being short with me(I'm assuming the owner?) and REALLY wanting to make sure I don't know anything about audio. (I have a degree in audio engineering, I didn't argue I just let him keep thinking hes right.)Great place to test out headphones before you buy them, but probably the strangest interaction I've ever had with an employee. I left confused more than anything.Story:Came in to try some headphones and the employee(owner?) was quite condescending and felt like he didn't really want to interact with me within 30 seconds of talking(No customers in the store at the time, this was around noon on a Sunday).I had a list of headphones and Dac/Amps I was recommended from a youtuber so I got started on Some Sundara's open and closed, and went up my list of about 4 headphones.I came across the Hifiman XS and I loved them right away. I asked if these headphones were neutral freq response and he kinda scoffed and said "audiophiles don't use those terms"(Any one in the audio world does and every reviewer including the manufacturer of said headphones DO label them as neutral).I asked if they had a specific headphone model(super high end, just to see if there was a big difference between 700$ and 2k headphones and he said "No but these are similar" and handed me a pair similar to Aeon 2 noire.The employee was explaining that I needed a powerful DAC/amp for the pair similar to the Aeon 2 noire, and as I was telling him "I have a pretty powerful audio interface that can support up to 300 ohms wouldn't that be more than enough?" but before I could explain that he ASSURED me and cut me off that it would not be enough without even knowing what I had. He also assured me the HiFiman Edition XS I was interested in were not available Canada-wide. I went home and checked Amazon and they had 3 in stock for the exact same price.
