The cashier working Tuesday mornings is always very friendly, she told me about discount prices on certain items and even helped me pick a better brand of kimchi. Very awesome service from her!

The sweet potatoes were spoiled and the cashier refused to refund. We bought these and returned in one hour but they just kept saying we couldn’t get refund in a very rude manner. The cashier never gave us a receipt at the time of purchase and didn’t even bother to ask if I wanted one. Be careful when you buy anything there because you wouldn’t be getting a proper costumer service.

Over priced doesn't even begin to cover it. If you have shopped here and spent $100 you could have saved $30.
Chit chat is around the corner. I bought seaweed for sushi there for $3 it was $17 at h mart. Avoid.

Not impressed with the dishonesty of one of your store employees. I wanted to get 2 Cherry Cokes and told him (the older Korean guy with glasses) that there were 2 different tags/prices for the product. I showed him and he grabbed the cheaper tag $2.49 and we went to the cashier where he scanned it. Clearly, the tag said $2.49. He took a look at the Cherry Cokes in the fridge and then told me that the price for my 2 bottles were $2.99 each. Pretty sure your store can be reported for not honouring an advertised price (legally) as a business.I asked if he was going to honour the cheaper price since it was a tag advertised... he ignored me and said 2.99. If I didn't have over $25 worth of product in my hands, I would have left everything at the counter. Did not take the Cherry Cokes and will not visit again. Will be sharing this experience with family and friends who also work in the area. The principle matters.

I lived in Korea for about 6 years so when I'm missing it, I come here and pick up treats. They have all your standard Korean treats like kimchi and kim, and even have vegan bulgogi! Defo worth trekking out to ubc!
