I feel bad having to write this review when obviously there are good people working at this shop. I try to be careful of the people I choose to do business with when it comes to my car, as many mechanics/dealers out there will take advantage of someone with less experience or knowledge -- this was unfortunately my case here.
I purchased a set of used tires for my vehicle; the vehicle was with me and I confirmed several times with the representative that they would fit, as I was skeptical. He looked directly into my eyes and lied to me, even while telling me to bring my car back there for service work because they were 'honest and fair'. He took my cash, knowing that I would be left in a bad position, and then refused to take accountability for his actions when I followed up with him.
On top of that - it wasn't until I got the tires back to my partner with more experience with vehicles that he noticed the person had also lied about the quality of the tires -- one tire is (somehow) more worn on one side, making all tires useless as their tread isn't even.
At the end of the day, buyer-beware is a real thing, so there's nothing I can do. But I also find it reprehensible that someone would take advantage of a customer's good faith, take their cash, and leave them high and dry.
If you decide to bring your vehicle here, just do your research, be careful and hopefully know better than I did! Good luck.

Manjit was very helpful in getting my 1997 truck repaired and on the road.
I had driven to Vancouver for the Thanksgiving weekend from Salmon Arm, when my truck broke down with a broken bleeder and brake line. Manjit fit me into their schedule, was able to get parts, and had me back on the road within 2 days.
Kudos and thanks to Manjit and the crew at GS Autocare.

My car honda fit had a deel problem when cold start and drive , the car would just stall. My brother recommended to check with Manjit. Manjit found the valves were the one which was causing the car to stall when cold start. I can say that any other normal mechanic guy would have never found that deep problem.
I would highly recommend Manjit experience as a mechanic for any car problem.

I can’t speak for others, but I had a very positive experience and customer service at GS Auto Care. The head mechanic both qualified and honest. The first time we came in with an issue with our car, he took the time to explain everything in detail and even used a model to show how things worked and what needed to be done. I was impressed by his personalized approach and excellent communication with customers. Overall, it has been a pleasure working with this company, and I would gladly recommend them?

Had some work done on my chevy silverado. My wheel bearing was making some noise and definitely needed replacement. The work was done quickly and with reasonable and transparent pricing. Will come back if/when I need work on my vehicle.

They are quick to inspect and fix what is wrong, despite my urgent requests for repairs and oil changes. The prices are reasonable and the staff has a great love for the cars. No other auto store can compare!

I have been going to GS auto care for over a decade and it is the most reliable and fair shop I’ve ever dealt with. I started going here when I would drive Hondas and Toyotas for regular service such as oil changes and brake jobs. Into my adult years I’ve had a Mercedes E350 and a Range Rover Sport and have had many different issues sorted out for a fair price. When I bring my foreign vehicles here Manjit and his team will always check over my vehicles for any leaks or anything else that may turn into a bigger issue in the future. I even had an electrical issue with my Range Rover where it would just shut off and the Land Rover Dealership had me change various things such as a fuel pump which never fixed the issue. When the GS auto care team inspected the vehicle there were able to locate the problem and solve it by changing an inexpensive modulator which had corroded over time. GS auto care is simply the best and the prices are fair. They will always make sure your work is done in a timely fashion for the best rate and warranty all there work. I would recommend them for any car!
