I walked into the store a few months ago and was impressed with the selection of shoes. Unfortunately I have small feet so there weren't many options in my size, however Sophie was extremely helpful in finding me the right pair, in the right size and the perfect style. Thank you Sophie! Looking forward to shopping there again soon. :)

Artfully hostile and indifferent service. They couldn’t be arsed.If I’m buying a $500.00 pair of boots, I’d like to be asked about fit and sizing and to perhaps have the stuffing removed from inside them when I want to try them on.

Just wanted to give a big shoutout to Ryan ? thank you so much for thoroughly helping my hubs and I finding a new pair of comfortable (ON and Hoka) running shoes!! Such a pleasure dealing with him.

Hi, I suspect that some of the reviews about the poor customer service at the Gastown location have been addressed. Today, I called the store just after it opened and the phone was promptly answering (unlike some stores where the phone just rings) and was assisted by Ryan. Very friendly and helpful service and bonus, they had the shoes I wanted in stock!

The service I received at Gravity Pope Gastown in Vancouver from Sophie Gibson was fantastic! I was attempting to purchase shoes for an event in which I was the MC. I am not a "shopper" so not a task I love. She was attentive, patient and provided many options (shoes, inserts, etc). For example, she asked to see photos of my outfit, and suggested shoes from the floor AND she suggested neighbouring stores who carried the vintage/funky style I was seeking. In the end I purchased footwear from BOTH Gravity Pope and other retailers. I will be certainly returning to Gravity Pope in the future!

I cannot say enough about the stunning selection of shoes GP has ALWAYS brought to our city...that said, I was so touched by the INCREDIBLE customer service I received from Sophie and Rudy (e-commerce). TRULY HEARTWARMING! They both were so wonderful! Thank you so much for my gorgeous shoes and also for making my day xo

One of the worst e-commerce experiences Ive had. Was told seven days to arrive at Gastown location, three weeks later after no updates I finally got ahold of customer service who told me they sent the wrong item with no apologies. I left the conversation with little confidence Id see my order any time soon. Avoid ordering online from Gravity Pope at all costs, such a mess.

First time shopping at this store, came to pick up my online order. The sales associate lady was quite rude and couldn’t find my order. My email told me to pickup from Gastown but apparently that was a mistake and she was almost going to make me go to the kits store until I saw the shoe on the shelf and it turned out they had it in stock but it wasn’t “my specific order”. She also made me feel unwelcome and had a weird dismissive attitude that I couldn’t understand because we were friendly and the store was empty so it’s not like it was hectic. Anyway two stars because I was I able to get my shoes and I love them however not going into this store again !

Beautiful shoes, terrible service! The staff in this store are not interested in customers, they're to busy talking to each others or playing with their phone. Whenever you ask for a size they make you feel so uncomfortable because it feels like they're doing a favor. Love this store but honestly the service is the worst I have ever had in Vancouver.

Went in knowing what boots I wanted, but needed to try them on first. The woman who helped me was very nice. They promptly got me the size in both available colours and gave me some pointers on how to care for the leather. Lovely!

One of the worst service encounters I've ever experienced. The sales girl was extremely rude and had no interest in wanting to be there. Went in to buy a pair of shoes as I was walking around in slides and ended up getting a couple blisters.Picked a pair and asked for a size to try on. I also asked if there were socks for me to try the shoes on with and that I would buy afterwards. She basically said no and walked away. When I decided to buy them, i asked if they had any no show socks to which goes and she rolls her eyes and says "thats all wr have behind you". I ended buying the pair of shoes because I needed them and when I went to pay she was so miserable. Having spent $350 on the pair of shoes, she acted like she was doing me a favor.I understand good help is hard to find these days but she should be out of a job. I was appalled at how terrible the service and her attitude was. This place normally has great service and friendly staff. Such a shame.

First time at this location. Love the way the store looks inside. Different vibe from the Kits location. My only complaint is staff didn’t give me the time of day. No greeting or acknowledgement when I walked in. And of course they didn’t bother asking if I needed help. Customer service 101.

Poor quality service. I bought boots as a gift and the box was damaged. When I asked if they could swap boxes the sales assistant was dismissive and made no attempt to help just saying they can’t switch boxes. Pretty disappointed
