BE CAUTIOUS to this shop. Misleading and Overcharge. The free inspection is misleading, it's unless you do the repair at whatever the shop quotes. I dropped off a vintage receiver, with one channel recently started to have the cracking sound when turning the volume knob. After a long waiting, Surprisingly I received $200 repair quote. It's very over charged, I can easily get the similar working receiver for $100 in Craigslist. Now if I don't proceed with the repair, I need to pay $50 inspection fee. Sigh, what a lesson learning. It's a waste time and money. NO RECOMMENDATION.

Great owner does what is promise and deliver a prompt service for my amp. Nad needs to recognize they should be the authorized dealer to repair.

Gilbert fixed one of my Focal monitors and didn’t stop until it was perfect. On his first attempt the problem persisted but I brought it back to him and he went above and beyond, contacting the manufacturer and getting their diagrams. From there he pinpointed the problem and ordered the necessary part from Europe with no extra service charges I just paid for the parts. He has a gift for fixing electronics and problem solving and I highly suggest you come here for any of your electronically related repair needs. Thanks Gilbert!

Gilbert at Global AV was great to deal with. He is very knowledgeable in electronics repair. When my Denon receiver could not be repaired, he fought hard with Denon to get me a replacement under warranty. I am happy with his service and highly recommend him.

Gilbert is great, I have a number of high end vintage 2 channel stereos. A couple 50 years old, and some approaching 50 years. Gilbert brought them back to life, with extraordinary care. One unit had a power switch that has not been made in decades. Gilbert modified a new switch to fit, a perfect match. Another unit had a volume control and balance on the same pot. The balance did not work rendering the pre-amp useless. The pot hasn't been made for 45+ years, no modern replacement. Gilbert fixed it. Works great sounds fantastic.

They don't even have an email. And they'll tell you they can't fix it and keep your items unless you pay to take them back, even though they did nothing.
