I stop here regularly and always have a good experience with the pumps, the staff, and the store in general.
Yesterday I went here to purchase something behind the counter that required presenting ID. I provided the cashier with my two pieces of ID and he sat there and interrogated me, asking me “is it you?”
I got my license when I was 16 just like most people, so the picture is old, but the ID is valid. He continued to stare and say he was “really confused.”
Eventually I paid for the goods I was trying to purchase and then asked for a receipt. In return, he glared back at me and asked me “can I see your ID again?!” with MASSIVE attitude.
When someone presents TWO valid pieces of ID, it is completely unreasonable to treat the customer with such insane amounts of attitude and contempt. What ELSE would he had liked from me? My insurance papers from my car with my name on it? A birth certificate? Ridiculous.
