Equinox is the best gym in Vancouver if you're looking for group fitness classes! They offer spin, pilates, yoga, running, traditional group classes and they have the best instructors! Geoff Bagshaw is a standout! They also have great facilities (sauna and steam room) and nice products in the showers. Highly recommend if you're looking for a high end workout experience! #ContestEntry

I have been a member for few years and I really enjoyed this gym, unfortunately recently the management rearranged the equipment, claiming to make a better flow, where instead is the opposite. Four mirrors that in the past were used for working out, now are covered with weight rack for dumbbells taking away space where you can actually do your workout.

The men’s steam room is often unusable because a few entitled guests take the cap off the eucalyptus misting bottle & dump the contents.
Leaves you with a nauseous sensation and burning throat & burning eyes :(
Lots of people are annoyed now. Please do something about this before a serious argument happens in there eg. replace with tiny bottles or a bottle with a lock or even remove it if these people can’t control this bizarre antisocial compulsion.

Love it so much! I basically go every single day!
Staffs are so friendly and fun to talk to! Personal trainers are really professional and friendly to teach you things there!
The advisor is always really helpful and I’m highly recommend Aiden as he’s supper helpful and knowledgeable about equinox benefits and fun activities!
Loving the place wayyy too much!
It’s not gym, it’s life!

Very disorganized, apathetic attitude from staff (who were not forthcoming in greeting and very slow in manner like they don’t value people’s time or experience so don’t try to fix things quickly instead just look lost and blank and as if the customer did something wrong…) including someone named “Alise”? Was there to tour as a potential new member but she spoke very arrogantly to me and showed zero social skills and didn’t even know the time I was booked already ten minutes past my appt time etc… continued to ask me the same questions the people at the desk asked me which is why it was now already ten minutes past the appt time (hence the disorganization!) Your phone number? ID? Who did you book with etc.. I went back got the desk with her in tow to repeat the same questions I thought the desk staff had already gathered… and she was “ok I can show you” speaking as if she was doing me some kind of favor and not a care to the amount of hassle and time taken from the customer? Just this interaction was heinous and stressful didn’t even go on the tour it was quite off putting and Alise and her lack of social skills simply goes “bye” with an attitude - lmao what an ego - Oh well I’m already pretty fit unlike Alise who looked totally unfit to be showing anyone around a gym. ? Unfit physically AND in sales / basic human interaction… seems Equinox needs to rethink the value their employees actually bring…

I’ve been an Equinox member for three months, and it has fulfilled all my expectations. The gym offers a wide variety of classes, or you can choose to work out on your own. Initially, I was a bit confused and had trouble booking the classes I wanted because you need to reserve them in advance. However, I soon learned that you can book your desired class 26 hours beforehand, which makes planning easier. As long as you know your schedule, you’re good to go!
Most of the coaches are knowledgeable and provide well-structured plans for each class they teach.
My only complaint is about the parking, which is quite pricey. If you stay for more than three hours, you have to pay $18, and I often end up doing so. I’m paying over $350 per month for parking, on top of the $290 membership fee for Equinox.

I've been going to this gym for a month now, and it's been a fantastic experience!
AIDEN was very helpful and professional, explaining all the details since I signed up and following up to provide further assistance.
The fitness classes are top-notch, offering high quality and lots of variety. The instructors and other staff are incredibly helpful and supportive, and the members here are so friendly.
I also love the sauna and steam room for some relaxing post-workout downtime. Highly recommend!

My experience with Equinox Gym Club has been the worst I've ever had with any gym. The place is constantly overcrowded, with an overwhelming number of members that make it impossible to enjoy a workout. Finding available equipment is a daily struggle, as everything is perpetually occupied. There are not enough showers or lockers, and waiting for a locker alone can take forever. I often have to arrive an hour early just to secure a spot for my workout.
Classes are always fully booked, turning the process into a competition to constantly check the app for a rare open spot. This setup might work for people with a lot of free time, but for anyone with a busy schedule, it's incredibly frustrating. It's also worth mentioning that this is the most expensive gym in Vancouver, yet it offers little value for the exorbitant price.
The worst part is their cancellation policy. They lock you into a contract for a year, making it impossible to cancel even if you're dissatisfied. Despite not using the gym for nine months, they continued to charge me every month. I spoke with the manager to explain my situation and requested to cancel my membership for several valid reasons, but they refused. I've paid for nothing, and it's completely unfair.

It’s a nice gym, fancier than most but Equinox in Canada are not as good as the states. Could use more equipments. Nice facility.
