These idiots sell glue guns. And they also sell glue gun sticks that are too small for the guns. If you buy these wrong sticks, and come back to the store just 15 minutes later, they won't take them back and won't acknowledge their mistake. It's like stepping into a third world country where they don't know what the meaning of the "good will" of a business, or customer service: all that matters is scrounging for every penny, no matter how you get it. Why don't they just put up a sign that begs the customer to go to Walmart?

This isnt a dollar store. All the items are overpriced even more then walmart or superstore. He wanted 25 dollars for a laundry basket when they are 10 at Canadian tire. That doesnt make any sense. If you walk in and leave with nothing. The owner gives you a dirty look. Well you are supposed to be a dollar store and charging 25 dollars for a laundry basket. Yes inflation is here and yes rent is high on kingsway but if you cant afford to keep your business open. Just shut down....

Do not recommend. I was overcharged for a purchase, even though I pointed out the sign with the original price. The cashier refunded my money, but after this incident, I will choose to take my business elsewhere. Avoid Dollar Plus Store: Home and Party at all costs, and please check your receipts and prices if you choose to shop here.

Very rude people, don't support them. Don't condone negativity. They don't deserve business the way they greet customers. Aside from they're business etiquette, many of their items are highly priced despite the dollar referenced in their name. You can tell what kind of people they are, the rude type that rip people off, no respect to humanity, just selfishness. God did not create people in his image like this.

Do not recommend this store. I never write reviews however the man from this store was unbelievably cold and unsympathetic. I purchased a broom and pan set and when I brought it home the item did not even work as the pan was curved and not laying flat on the floor. I immediately called the next morning as I still had the receipt and tag still attached, and explained that the item I purchased is faulty/did not work. The male on the phone had 0 zero sympathy and repeatedly said no. I explained that Im not looking for a refund, I just wanted an exchange for an item that actually worked. He could care less, couldn't even offer an exchange even though the receipt says it could be done within 7 days. He sharply repeated that was pre-covid - this shouldn't even be on displayed on the receipt for buyers. He said due to covid their not accepting exchanges and I said understandable if it was cutlery, food, beverage, etc... but this is a product that could be wiped down with lysol wipes or sanitizers. Actually this was a product that was sold but did NOT work. I'm pretty shocked at the lack of kindess this store has during these difficult times. He did not care whatsoever that their store sold a defective item. Wouldn't give my business again.

The store has some variety but one has to be ready that the prices are faaar beyond $1 (some items were $18) and it has nothing to do with buying cheap. The man on the cash desk was simply rude. The products we chose all had a price tag, and even after this the cashier managed to change the price in the last moment for higher (we are not talking about tax here). When we showed him the price tags, he just said "No", repeated the higher price in his "gentle" manner and moved on to the next customer.

Nice little store packed with a lot of items at great prices. Exactly what is expected from a dollar store. Lots of part supplies too. Friendly and helpful staff.

I share the sentiments of the last reviewer for the interaction was similar. The staff lied about what they carry in the store. I mean, if you don't know, you don't know. Saying no you don't carry something when you in fact do, is just a tremendous inconvenience to whosoever wants to buy from here.
