Based on the tons of 5-star reviews here saying how their customer service is very good, I probably caught them on their bad they as the person who answered my call was pretty rude during the entire conversation we had.
I recently had an unpleasant experience with Discount Auto Repair that left me quite disappointed. I had high expectations based on previous reviews, but my recent interaction fell short.
During my visit, I asked a straightforward question about why a task that seemed to require only a few hours was expected to take 1-2 days. Instead of a clear explanation, the response I received was sarcastic and dismissive. For instance, when I inquired about the extended time frame, the staff simply replied, “That’s how long it will take to finish,” without any further clarification.
The lack of professionalism and the sarcastic tone of the responses made the situation even more frustrating. It felt as though my concerns were not taken seriously, which only added to the inconvenience of having to wait for a job that I believed should have been completed more promptly.
While I understand that sometimes delays are inevitable, the unhelpful and sarcastic responses from the staff made the experience much worse.

I was on the road, got a problem with a Heat Shield that partially came off and was rattling, they fixed it and made a overdue and much needed oil change. I was back on the road in a seconds. Thank’s. Great service from owner and mechanic.

Maz at the front desk was super accommodating and was able to get my car in right away to assess the leak in my tire. Although my tire will need to be replaced eventually, I will definitely be going back to them for the tires because of the customer service. The mechanics were also super nice and helpful. Greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)

Recently moved into the area and came here for what ended up being a total brake and rotors replacement as well as an oil change; and the service was impeccable. I cannot say enough about Maz and the rest of the team here.
They treated me and my car with respect and I really got the sense they wanted what was best for me rather than just looking to make a quick buck. The communication throughout the entire process was also great.
Plus the work they did on my car was fantastic. I have had brake replacements before in the past but I can really feel the difference with this one as it ACTUALLY feels like my brakes were completely upgraded when I drive now. I highly recommend this shop and will definitely be coming here for all my car maintenance needs moving forward.

I am very disappointed and angry with the service that was provided here, they took my car in for a week, did not make any attempt to fix my problem, and on top of that dirtied the interior of my car for nothing. Had to take it somewhere else.
Please do not take your car here.

You won’t find a kinder more honest mechanic anywhere in the lower mainland. Every repair holds and they never try to get you to do anything unnecessary. I couldn’t recommend this shop enough!
