Got my hair done today by Heather and love the new blonde!! Great thorough work! Laura has also done my hair and I have loved it as well! All staff are very friendly, welcoming and great at what they do!

Love love this salon! I was referred to Heather from a friend and am so happy with how she does my hair. Heather did a thorough consultation and asked questions that I have never been asked like what ways I wear my hair since that would affect the type of highlights she did.. I was very impressed and confident I was in the right hands. She's fun to chat with and makes great product recommendations but without the pressure to buy them. I live in the okanagan and still make a point of seeing Heather for my hair services when I'm back in town... If not for the great service then definitely for the free popcorn ❤️

Let me start by saying:
Renee & Estella are amazing human beings.
My daughter was recently hospitalized with a very serious case of pneumonia; so obviously, her hair was not my top priority. When she came home, trying to brush it out was.. pretty much impossible for me (despite many attempts).
Today, Renee & Estella spent 2.5 hours gently combing out all the mats, strand by strand. They made sure my daughter was happy and comfortable and let her take lots of breaks. I thought we were going to have to cut most of her length off, but they managed to save it.
To say I am grateful is a massive understatement. Not only that, but my little girl, who was stuck in a hospital bed 2 weeks ago, absolutely miserable... couldn't wait to run to the park to show her friends her long, beautiful hair.

I do not recommend getting extensions from Kristal at all. I got 100grams of 22 inch sew in extensions put in by Kristal after following her on Instagram for many years. I got hair extensions to cover up a bad hair cut for a few weddings. My own hair was fine and full but her applications of extensions caused me to lose over 50% of my natural hair in just 10 weeks. I saw her once after 6 weeks for a move up and she did not mention anything about the condition of my own hair at the time besides coming in sooner for a full reapplication next time. I got my hair extensions removed after 4 weeks because it was causing my scalp to hurt. I was extremely distressed when I saw my natural hair. I had significant hair loss, with visible breakage patches where she attached the extensions, I couldn’t even put my own hair into a pony tail it was so thin. She tried to make me believe that this amount of hair “fall” was normal. I would never suggest anyone get hair extensions from her.

Renee at Craft is a godsend! She helped me back when I had completely botched my hair during the pandemic, and I've been going to her ever since. There is no one else I trust with my hair. Renee specializes in vivid colors and helped me achieve a beautiful purple hair color while keeping it healthy. Since then, I’ve changed jobs and funky hair colors aren’t conducive anymore, but she still cuts and dyes my hair. She always prioritizes the health of my hair and gives me her honest opinion about what might cause damage or not suit my face structure. She also gives the best shampoo massages and is sooooo easy to talk to. She knows when you're in the mood to talk and respects when I might want to sit through some silence. I highly recommend Renee for her expertise and genuine care.

Words can not express how much I love this salon I was looking for a new salon a few months ago since my old hairdresser moved far away from me. After looking around, I found craft! Read the reviews and the profiles of all the hairdressers, this place seemed to have a fun, casual vibe! I was sure right, it's such a safe and fun environment. My hairdresser Reneé is the absolute best hairdresser I've ever had, her attention to detail is top tier? She gets my requests perfect everytime, feels like I'm hanging out with a good friend when I'm in her chair! I always look forward to my hair appointments now❤️?

This salon is very welcoming, inclusive and has a fabulous atmosphere. Kyla is always so accommodating. She is very attentive and great with helping with any worries or concerns. She keeps track of formulas/styles from each appointment and always gives me EXACTLY what I'm hoping for. 12/10 experience every single time with Kyla!!!

Love Craft Academy, especially my stylist, Kyla! Kyla stands out for so many reasons .. each time I visit, she listens to what I want, offers suggestions, has an abundance of knowledge, and is meticulous when cutting my hair. Kyla takes her time and most importantly; takes pride in her work. She is also amazing at cutting my ten year old daughter’s hair. My daughter loves her down to earth personality and how beautiful she makes her feel after each visit. We are so lucky to have found her. A+ stylist!

Rita is a gem. I’ve got fizzy wavy hair, but she listens and advises each time I want a change up. She’s able to cut my hair so it looks good whether I airdry it (with the right products), curl it, or straighten it. She’s intuitive and bases the conversation on how social I’m feeling.

Finally found a curly hair stylist to help me manage and teach my about my curl pattern! Queen Katy spent so much time teaching me about my curl pattern, styling my hair, cutting it and showing me great products. She styled my hair to have curls, ACTUAL CURLS not just frizzy waves! She was so friendly and generous with her time. I’m so lucky to have found her! If you got curls go see her!
