My experience at Collective Fitness was amazing! I was staying in Vancouver for 4-months for work, and I was able to continue my cross-fit training through their gym. The coaches were very welcoming and knowledgeable, and their training programs were excellent.

I came to CFK without previous athletic background and wanting to find a community which can support me in building a more active lifestyle. And I found exactly just that. You have to take mandatory foundation classes which gave you solid movements foundation that can be applied beyond the classes. I did my intro with Iker who provided great insights to my body movements and always has your back in every class. Even for a beginner like me, the movements are scalable and I could see my progression within 6-8 months after my first visit. While COVID restricted some of the more social aspects of the gym compared to normal, I still find that the people you meet in class truly roots for you (which goes a long way when you feel like giving up).I cannot recommend this place enough for everyone, no matter what kind of fitness goals you are looking for. You’ll find the workout energizing and fun (though hard), as well as a supportive community of coaches and attendees.

This place is like a second home to me. I enjoy the workouts, but I look forward to going because of the friends I’ve made there. Small classes means you get more attention from instructors, and after a while they know when to push you and when your giving your all.

I joined CFK over half a year ago as a beginner to CrossFit. I joined with the goal of keeping active and learning something new, but I soon realized the strong sense of community and friendship that's formed at this box.The owner is passionate about CFK and very friendly. He did a great job in making changes in response to the recent pandemic and social environment. He really went a long way to keep members engaged during the lockdown and to continuously improve the class offerings and schedules. All of the coaches are also fantastic. They are extremely knowledge and very engaged in helping and motivating everyone during the class. The coaches are definitely what makes the difference in a class.I highly recommend this box for anyone interested in joining CrossFit!

Great box. Inviting and friendly for all levels. The coaches really take the time to go over positioning and technique. It has helped me push my strength and fitness beyond what I could have got to by myself in a fun environment.

Started at this gym as a beginner to Crossfit and went through the elements program with Iker, one of the coaches at CFK. He was great, taught me everything I needed to know, helped push me mentally, and was right there when I had any questions. The overall atmosphere is awesome, its a friendly, caring community and everyone wants to see you succeed! The owner is very involved and you can tell he is passionate about his gym, and what he does. Would recommend this to anyone!

I started private training with the owner after my doctors ordered me to start working out, following confirmation ofTraumatic Brain Injury. He was patient and understood that he would have to tell me over and over again the technique or the exercises because my memory was zero and my brain would forget and in shut down mode. I literally could not do a flow without him telling me what came next. So he has the patience to deal with anyone if he could deal with me in recovery from TBI and Neck Compression. I then had to take a break due to major shoulder injury sustained on my return to work and even though I’m still recovering 10 months later, I have rebounded and he has tailored sessions for me specifically to ensure that we don’t over do it, or that I don’t need manipulation and that I keep good form. He went out of his way to do major research to teach me different movements, alignment techniques and explains when to push me through an exercise. But more importantly HE LISTENS - he respects that I know my body just as well and when I say I need to take it slow or it feels off and we suddenly have switch up the routine he does no questions asked. I’m in recovery and even though we are increasing progress, he is my number cheerleader. Reminding me to strong mentally first and physically second.So even though they are well known for #crossfit they really do private training even more and #functionalbodybuilding is just as hard as CrossFit and perfect for those with injuries and mobility issues.

CFK is a great place with knowledgeable staff, a caring community and with a focus on quality of movement over quantity. I've been at the gym for over two years, and it is always a highlight of my week. I'm a middle-aged guy with a lot of responsibility for aging parents, teenage kids and people I care for where I work. But regardless of how difficult life gets, I can always count on a great workout, lots of laughs with a community of friends and a freeing of my mind from the burdens of life.
