I would like to commend ZANE from the service department for his exceptional work on my Honda cb650r. His dedication and hard work truly stood out as he tackled tasks that other mechanics from different businesses were hesitant to do on my motorcycle. Thanks to him and skills, the outstanding service provided by the Honda organization at motorsports has solidified my decision to continue doing business with them for both parts and service in the future.

WOW...!!! WOW...!!! Where do I start this review?
I made a simple phone call to Carter Motorsports, wondering about getting a motorcycle from CM (I had bought a few Honda CBR's in the past). Yada-Yada-Yada....I got 2023 Honda CBf650RA with OEM CB650RA Accessories getting ready to be installed.....

Had a great Carter Motorsports experience getting the first service on my Honda Ruckus. They set up a time where I could enjoy the sights and sounds of Granville Market while they serviced the bike. Quick and easy.

Where do I start. Parts staff ordered me a tire and rim for a scooter that is on a remote island. (I told them) Parts were going to take 3-4 days, they said they would call me when ready for pick up. They finally called me after 3 weeks and asked when I would pick up the parts (I told them that they hadn’t called to tell me they were in). I came down the next day to pick them up and realized that I neglected to tell them to put the tire on the rim. (My fault) So a trip to service dept. I told the service advisor that I needed the tire put on the rim. He told me to put it on the counter and they would get it done and call me. I wrote a note on my parts invoice asking for the tire to be put on the rim and call me. Three weeks later I came in and asked if my tire was ready. Service manager told me that the parts were put on her desk but there was no work order so she put the parts back into stores. (I could tell from the look on her face that she knew they screwed up). Again I left without the tire only to come back a few days later to finally pick it up. So to summarize- in order to get a scooter tire it required 4 trips over 7 weeks = 1 star. Not acceptable. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable but they need to be better at communicating, taking responsibility and following through.

Bought a brand new Rebel 500 with them exactly a year ago. It had a scratch on the gas tank during delivery but they told me not to worry as they will replace it right away for free to have that “perfect” condition. They are extremely accommodating and gave couple more promises but after I signed the paperwork they left me high and dry. I was patient and waited a year to write this review to give them enough time to fulfill these promises but this establishment is your typical money grab dealership, I don’t recommend doing business with these people.

If you are new at riding and need service for your motorcycle, go elsewhere. I dropped my bike with very minor damage. The first quote I got was $2500+ (still have the email). The only things that actually broke are the foot peg, one turn signal and gear selector. Here comes the problem
1) There are some minor scratches to foot peg brackets and the exhaust, the quote includes changing it to a completely new exhaust and bracket. These are expensive parts
2) Their per hour rate is higher by 20% than competitors
3) Their parts cost more than competitors
Their understanding is that I will claim my insurance for the $2500 damage. I told them I'm paying out of pocket and the girl said "ooh....".
I went in and asked why I need to pay $2500 repair on a $4500 bike and the girl was lost why when she actually looked at the bike. She asked the mech to come out and we go over everything. When all is said and done, they wanted to charge me $1200 for the repair + first service. I went home, and asked their Honda competitor and they said they would do it for $450 total.
Carters service department wanted to charge me 5 hours for the whole thing. Carters also said I needed to change out unnecessary part. To "save cost" they said they will bend back the gear selector. The mech lied about the labor big time. Their competitor did everything in one hour labor including first service and have a brand new gear selector. In the end I was charged about $375 for repair and first service (still have receipt). I will never go there ever again for anything.
