Update, Feb 2024The vehicle had to have over $9000 more in repairs including a completely rebuilt transmission. The clearly lied about inspection and the condition of the vehicle. And I have emailed but never received a reply.Update, May 31st 2023We've had the vehicle 5.5 months. So far we had to:Get the interior cleaned to remove stains and smell.Pay for new wipers because Canada Drives installed the wrong ones and it popped off while driving. oil change, even though Canada Drives said they had just done an oil change the change oil light came on and when the oil change was done they said it needed to be.A plastic strip down the side of the windshield broke off while driving down the highway. Had to do the rear and front brakes. The mechanic said it was not wear but was installed incorrectly and "the pads were stuck in the caliper bracket (seized) which caused the pads and rotors to overheat and crack." The wipers, and oiled changed and brakes were all confirmed to be repaired, as a part of the inspection before receiving the vehicle from Canada Drives.I'm not sure where to go from here. I thought I had done everything right finding a safe reliable vehicle and it's been far from it. I even purchased the overpriced warranty and they wont cover anything because it's all caused by the bad repairs Canada drives mechanics did. How they have such a high rating I will never know. I'm worried about the safety of the vehicle and I can not afford 6 years of high payment with all these repairs. The process of purchasing the vehicle was pretty easy. Very quick response time by phone, text, and email, which was nice. The insurance lady and office staff were super friendly when I came to pick up the car. It would be nice if they had a courtesy driver on staff. I did not like that I was forced to have my photo taken with the vehicle to release it to me. (They did ask if they could use it for promotion before and I said no, hopefully they stick to that). No one went over the vehicle with me, just handed over a key, took the photo and left. After the purchase I had several issues either ignored or took a very long time to respond to.These are the main ones:- The vehicle came with only one key however, there are still two activated for the vehicle. (I'm in the process of trying to get the active key that we don't have deactivated with Ford)- All of the previous owner’s information was still in the system, home and work addresses, phone number, etc.- The inside of the vehicle was not cleaned well, had a bad smell, had fingerprints everywhere, stuff dripped on the console and in the speaker, etc.- There was a random plastic part in the side pocket of the back of the vehicle. We still haven't figured out where it belongs.- The most concerning thing was that Canada Drives replaced the windshield wipers with incorrect ones that popped off driving on the highway in the snow. It was a very scary situation. The inspection report said that the wipers weren't replaced by them but upon follow up they did replace them. Absolutely NO apology or offer to pay for the replacement from them. Again, this is a very dangerous thing to overlook.- The oil change light came on around 6 weeks after receiving the vehicle. The inspection report said it was done, when I followed up with them, they said yes it was done, but it probably wasn't reset. Because of this and not knowing when it was actually done, we've had to go ahead and get the oil change done and have the notification reset. All and all my biggest concern if that it really seems like the inspection was rushed. Unfortunately, they won’t let you take the vehicle to have your own inspection done before the purchase, in fact you can’t even drive it first. They do have a 7-day return period. I’d make sure if you’re doing a trade-in to be sure to clear all your personal information from the system. Do not expect to get nearly the level of attention after the purchase as you did during. And just to be clear, this wasn’t a really old che

With gratitude I appreciated the conversation, other than strict business. In my humble opinion I would rather a person I am doing business takes the time to do this. For me this is key for me in doing business with someone. In today’s society we are in too much of hurry in all aspects of life. Caring and Compassion go a long way in my books. Bosses need to recognize off topic conversation is key to sealing deals!!!!!!

It started off fine, I did the quote online then I drove to Richmond and was told there would be compensation for my travel. I get there, and got offered less than the quote to start (I clicked exterior damage on the quote then was dinged for it?, it was not major either)Anyways, we agreed on a price and they are salesmen and the middle man so I under that side of it.The Part that irritates me, my sunglasses case (same colour as my seats) must of fell out of the top of my bag when I was leaving (my fault yes) but when I contacted them to get them back, send someone local to get them or pay for shipping if they want to show good going beyond customer service, no reply. Followed up twice, nothing. Nice sunglasses too. I got less money than the quote with travel and no sunglasses. They reply quickly until they take possession of your car.Good thing, only took a day to get paid.

My family bought a used car from this dealership 2022 and bought the 48 month (80,000KM) extended warranty. We have been trying to get in contact with someone from the dealership to discuss warranty repairs and it shows it is covered under the extended warranty list given but trying to get ahold of someone at Canada Drives is impossible. I can't be without a vehicle as I have a busy household so now I'm forced to pay out of pocket for something that is under their "covered" items and hopefully be reimbursed by them. If I can ever get someone to talk to me. Maybe they are playing the waiting game until the warranty expires to say "it's no longer covered" even though the work was completed within the warranty period. Our experience with them has been amazing up until now.

I couldn’t have made a worse choice of dealerships to purchase a car from. Dump you off a lemon and offer no follow ups, no support, no help, in fact they totally forgot they sold me the car and just referred me to the financial institution who loaned me the money - the worst financial institution in Canada - Lendcare, who are not only useless but thieves and crooks, stole money from my account they had no right to take and will not pay it back, which also caused me to take a hit of 75 points to my credit score. This is by far the worst financial decision I’ve ever made and ever will make in my life. Yes it’s my fault for accepting the offer but any other dealership would at least acknowledge me as a customer! I haven’t even been disrespectful or angry on the phone. They just don’t care full stop.

They tried but they couldn’t find a price comparable to what I have available in the city already…it’s too bad but the options are just way overpriced

Just wanted to thank Canada Drives for their excellent service and help in a stressful situation when my vehicle suddenly died. The steps were simple and immediately I had people that were there and made the process so seamless . I feel they went above and beyond customer service to help me . These people were excellent to work with and got me a great value in my 2021 Ford Explorer Limited. The car is great and the service was great. They got me am excellent rate on financing and went above and beyond in so many ways. They are responsive and helpful through the whole process. Even the delivery driver that delivered my vehicle was great. I have only good things to say about Tony and Julia, and the delivery driver (I don't know his name). Thanks for doing what you do!
