Had no idea what I was coming in for today looking for a gift for my mom. Rachel gave me the best customer service and help and was such a personable person. She made this experience so great and wrapped my present so delicately. Thank you so much! Hopefully she gets a raise or promotion.

Went to this location today to find some fun, oversized hoops. Fun as in cheap, not real gold. I had a hoop from the open display in my hand and asked if it came in a larger diameter. The sales person literally took the hoop from me. I told her I wasn’t done and asked for it back but she continued to put it on the tray and take it from me like it was the Hope Diamond I’d touched. Anyhow, won’t be back. Good thing there are lots of other jewellery stores to spend my money at. Like a person below me wrote, I wasn’t aware this store had a no touch policy.

I visited this store late afternoon looking for a silver chain. A girl with brown hair helped me got the perfect chain! She’s so sweet and helpful and doesn’t push sales and stuff. Don’t know her name but she might be a new employee cause another staff was giving her some instruction while checking out. Highly recommend this store!

Staffs were rude and not showing a warm welcome during closing (6/21/2023). This store gave me the worst customer experience I have ever received out of all the other Blue Ruby stores in Metro Vancouver.
If you were going to close the store, you should’ve shown a sign or closed your gate/ door before cleaning and at least let people know in the first place while walking into the store.
They were super unprofessional; they expected the customer to understand their body language, and bad attitude and expected the customer to leave as soon as possible just cause they were almost closing.
And suddenly, I was not sure why they were laughing so loud, but I felt super offended and ungracious when they did that behind my back as I walked out of the store after my purchase.

The staff will ask (harrass?) Are you doing alright within 1min from one another instead of letting the customers to browse and choose an item. Terrible.

Every Blue Ruby I've been to has been a welcoming and helpful experience. This location is a different story. The 4 people staffed were too busy huddled around the table and talking rather than acknowledging me or asking if I would like to see something. I was there for a good bit of time too, very disappointing, I was ready to buy a gift for my sister but this turned me off. I went to Mejuri instead.

Been going to this store for a year and have bought many products. Today, went there again but had a terrible experience and would give one star (but giving two cuz have amazing experience prior). I was helped by TD(her Initials) and was given lots of attitude by her. Asked her to open the necklace for me but she said to do it myself cuz she couldn’t because of the massive nails she had on(maybe don't wear long nails if you work in a jewellery store). In the end, we asked for a bag for the pendant and she rolled her eyes. We went out to try the pendant but couldn’t figure out why it wasnt locking in. When we went back in, she said they can do their best to replace it… I mean I was just outside the store for 2 minutes and you are treating me like a stranger.
Anyways always had a great experience and amazing products, just this time was very frustrating. If you could please let the employees know that they need to be friendly to keep the your amazing business running. Won’t be coming here again even tho will be missing out on your great products.
