Staffs were rude and not showing a warm welcome during closing (6/21/2023). This store gave me the worst customer experience I have ever received out of all the other Blue Ruby stores in Metro Vancouver.If you were going to close the store, you should’ve shown a sign or closed your gate/ door before cleaning and at least let people know in the first place while walking into the store.They were super unprofessional; they expected the customer to understand their body language, and bad attitude and expected the customer to leave as soon as possible just cause they were almost closing.And suddenly, I was not sure why they were laughing so loud, but I felt super offended and ungracious when they did that behind my back as I walked out of the store after my purchase.

The staff will ask (harrass?) Are you doing alright within 1min from one another instead of letting the customers to browse and choose an item. Terrible.

Every Blue Ruby I've been to has been a welcoming and helpful experience. This location is a different story. The 4 people staffed were too busy huddled around the table and talking rather than acknowledging me or asking if I would like to see something. I was there for a good bit of time too, very disappointing, I was ready to buy a gift for my sister but this turned me off. I went to Mejuri instead.

Angelina has helped me on several occasions. She provides wonderful customer service and always seems to know exactly what I am looking for based on my vague descriptions. Very impressed by her!

Been going to this store for a year and have bought many products. Today, went there again but had a terrible experience and would give one star (but giving two cuz have amazing experience prior). I was helped by TD(her Initials) and was given lots of attitude by her. Asked her to open the necklace for me but she said to do it myself cuz she couldn’t because of the massive nails she had on(maybe don't wear long nails if you work in a jewellery store). In the end, we asked for a bag for the pendant and she rolled her eyes. We went out to try the pendant but couldn’t figure out why it wasnt locking in. When we went back in, she said they can do their best to replace it… I mean I was just outside the store for 2 minutes and you are treating me like a stranger.Anyways always had a great experience and amazing products, just this time was very frustrating. If you could please let the employees know that they need to be friendly to keep the your amazing business running. Won’t be coming here again even tho will be missing out on your great products.

One of my new favorite treasures in Vancouver. I came into the store absolutely clueless on how to layer and style pieces of jewelry together, i’m very new to the jewelry scene. Angelina was the girl who helped me find pieces that would fit my style and even took the time to show me how to layer my necklaces together. She was super helpful, informative and a genuine sweetheart, it is always nice to be served by someone so warmly especially during the busiest time of the year. I will without a doubt be returning to this location soon.

They don’t tell you there is a no touch policy when you enter, hardly anyone tires to assist you, then they scold you for touching something. There were barely any customers in the store and they are still not able to provide good service. I woul have probably bought something if I wasn’t scolded so rudely. 2 stars because there is some nice jewellery. 1 star for service and rude staff.

Abbey G was great from the moment I walked in. She was attentive, caught on to my style preferences quickly, and made a bunch of great suggestions, one of which ended up being the beautiful Herringbone necklace I left with.I usually enjoy coming to blue ruby, but Abbey made it particularly great today. Thanks!

Read my review on Blue Ruby at Oakrdge and you will know what I likke about Blue Ruby. This location has the best selction of cufflinks. The big display cases show all of the cuff links in all their glory. The fun and the frivolous are right there interspersed with the serious and refined. Next time you are looking to jazz up your French cuff shirts head into Blue Ruby.
