Blue Ruby is my neighborhood jewelry store that I associate with offering high quality jewels and designers ranging locally to all over the world ? they’re amazing and have great taste all in one store.
Here you can find affordable, silver and often gold vermeil pieces that last longer than plated jewelry. Designs are always new and inspiring, and I usually walk out spending about $80-$100.
The staff are soooo sweet and helpful!
For example, I can just be like, “I love rose gold and constellations and stars” and the gals will just walk around with me to show me things I might like.
It’s not an uptight atmosphere to me, the people are always chill, kind and always there to help or let you be and to casually peruse. So going here is always a pleasure.
One of my favorite brands I’ve found here is from Korea, called “Quiet Icon” — always so simple and beautifully designed.
No jewelry I’ve ever gotten here has ever broken. They only sell reallly cute, quality, cutting edge designs from all over the world ?
ALSO check out the sales and clearance, as they always have incredible deals in the back.
I’m so lucky my husband always just gives me his card and tells me to go in whenever we walk by ? while he goes to the bookstore ?

First time in vancouver and i had to buy a jewellery from your store. I had a really good experience as a swiss tourist while shopping and a employee called Breanna was a big help for me. She was really friendly, gave me good recommendations and so i had to buy a beautiful bracelet. I can recommend this lovely employee to you.

Bought earrings that are supposed to be gold plated for my daughter. After wearing them 12 hrs both ears had cracked, bleeding skin. Definitely not good enough quality to be called gold plated.

I was very disappointed with their customer service. A lot of items were on sale, and I asked a lady there how much a necklace was with the sale price applied, and the answer I got was "I don't know. I am not so good at math." And when I was torn between two necklaces, I asked the same lady which one was more popular and she replied to me, saying "they both are popular.", and that was it, no more explanation added and I got the impression that she did not want to talk to me anymore. Also, it seemed like the sales people there looked more interested in chitchatting with each other than dealing with customers, and I felt not welcomed while being there. I still wanted to be polite and said thank you, but the lady who "helped" me did not even say "good bye" or 'Thank you" back. I guess customers would want more professionalism from sales people in such jewelry shops?

I visited today with my mom, and the staff were super nice. It’s a cute little store, with a beautiful display of unique jewelry. There were many local artists and a wide selection of necklaces, bracelets, and more! My mom and I spent an hour picking stuff out, and the worker was so patient. She helped us go through the options, and made great recommendations as well. We ended up purchasing a pendent and chain. Will definitely visit again!

I like the variety. Well priced and high quality products. The service is also very good. You can have a small budget going in and be satisfied. Or if you are willing to break the bank, you can as well. The only feedback is after going in every other month, I feel the products look and feel the same and haven't had many new styles or new artists. But this is small and minor feedback on top of the overall good service they provide.

Friendly service, they have a very varied catalog of jewelry and semi-jewelry and some items from Svarosvisk. Well located on a central street in Vancouver and with an attentive and specialized staff.
