If you're looking to get a new suit, you will not be disappointed going with the team at Blair Shapera!! I was looking to go somewhere that would provide a similar experience getting a suit as my wife got picking out her dress. The details, the personalization, the craftsmanship, not to mention the fun of it all! From the moment I walked in for my first appointment to my final fitting, it was an absolute blast. Being a woman who doesn't love the traditional women's fitted suit, I've had really bad experiences in the past where the designer or tailor refuses to think outside of the box when it comes to a fit. This couldn't have been a better experience and I'm unbelievably grateful for Blair (and the team!) who was beyond open and supportive of what I was looking for while also providing great insight on how to get the most out of your suit. This is easily the best decision I could've made for my wedding suit.

Cannot recommend this place enough :) I got my made to measure wedding suit here. It turned out absolutely perfect and the experience was amazing. Steven and the rest of the staff are super helpful and friendly. And they made the experience feel really fun and special.
Prior to going here. I also did consultations at Indochino & Surmesur. (Which I’d say would be in a similar category in terms of price) but the service and experience at Blair Shapera was significantly better.
I also really liked that there was absolutely no pressure to go with the most expensive options. They were more than happy to work within the budget I had.

After a long time I am here to finally give Blair a review. Because of him I was able to have a suit not only for my wedding but also for in office work use. I showed him some models I liked and they showed me the closest fabric they had and order my suit according to my measurements. If you need a suit, you have to go to Blair and team. They helped my groomsmen and I with our suits, and I can tell you that all eyes were on us that day. We received a lot of compliments on our suits, and were even told they were the sharpest suits anyone has ever seen.
Blair and team were incredibly professional and helpful in guiding us through the process. We had some issues due to one of our groomsmen losing weight, but the patience and problem solving that Blair and team had was truly top notch.

I recently had the pleasure of getting a custom suit designed and stitched by Blair Shapera, and I couldn't be happier with the result. From the initial measurement appointment to fabric selection and final fitting, the entire process took about 2.5 months and went seamlessly. Every step felt personal, with no pressure to choose expensive options – just honest, thoughtful advice on what suited my style and preferences.
I initially discovered Blair Shapera through recommendations on Reddit while searching for a custom suit for my cousin's wedding, and I'm so glad I did. As someone with a slender build, finding a ready-made suit that fits well without looking oversized or unflattering has always been a challenge. Blair and the team were very helpful and accommodating with my vision. They provided above and beyond service — from last minute changes to coordinating with my busy schedule.

Got my made-to-measure wedding suit here. It was a really fantastic experience. The entire staff was very friendly and everything ran according to plan. The suit was such a great fit and there was just a small alteration to get done when it came in. Blair is really smart and personable and talks you through the process during the fitting and adjustment process. I would recommend anyone getting a suit to buy from Blair Shapera

I heard about Blair Shapera through a Facebook post when I had been seeking out services to design a custom suit for my Master's graduation, as up to this point, I was only familiar with Indochino. First, I was blown away by the promptness of the shop response, right from my initial inquiry. Message sent when I knew the shop would still be closed, and yet an email back within half an hour or so of opening? Amazing! I also felt their enthusiasm through their initial email, which was more than I could say for Indochino at Metrotown, even when I came in at mall opening. I cancelled at Indochino immediately!
I would say that the entire staff truly CARES about each customer, especially by requesting that customers send over inspiration boards ahead of time, and to bring in favourite-fitting pieces of clothing for the initial appointment. Do not skip this step; if you are a tricky fit with ANYTHING, it helps the staff to have a visual to work with. Case in point, I struggle with gaping, so for them to see a pair of work pants I own with strategically-placed elastic to help with this helped immensely for the final fitting.
Do give yourself plenty of time from the initial appointment to the final event. Because the team cares, this will not be a rush job; while they are certainly flexible in some areas (I was given the option of taking one of the pairs of pants home while the other was getting fixed; I declined because it made more sense to me to have the physical item on hand for adjustments), depending on the situation, you mileage may vary.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Blair Shapera for ANY custom suit needs, no matter how you identify. The team is professional, kind, and adamant about you looking your absolute BEST in your clothes! I have already told others to come to the shop, and will continue doing so!
