It seems this is the only tire repair shop able to fix a flat close to or in the "wall" of the tire. So my practice is to go somewhere else first and if they cannot fix the flat, I come here and it will get fixed. I will pay more than at the other shops because the other shops can't actually do the job, and at this Big O they can. At this location I use extremely careful people skills to keep everyone happy. I do not come to this shop expecting 10/10 people skills from the service providers. But they will fix my tire so I do not need to buy a new tire (or 2 matching new tires) for half the price of a new tire. And the repair works. It lasts. I get what I paid for. Join me in keeping this shop in business because we appreciate the work they do, and don't say anything to provoke them.

I had a hole in my tire, was told by Costco I need to buy a brand new tire. Took it to Randy, he fixed it for half the price. He may come off a bit aggressive over phone, but he provides honest, quick, and reliable service. Definitely recommended for all your tire services!

Old guy was not good on customer service. Keeps on correcting how customer deliver questions. Im still not getting d answers on my inquires and in my mind im thinking of other tire service when i exit in the shop!!! Makes u feel offended!!! Guys should just stay at d back repairing and replacing tires. Not d right person to face customer!!! This shop is closest to my home and been on this shop several times but this is d only time i met this guy! Will never go back again and will tell all my friends not to get bring their car too!!! Businesses exists because of customers. No customer no business. Have a great day.

Had my tire changed couple years ago, so when I had a flat tire yesterday, I called this Randy guy to inquire, he was so rude and inpatient, literally laughed about my question and said “I don’t have to listen to your situation just bring in your vehicle ”. BTW the call was less than 1:30min, nice way to carry your business Randy.

****STAY AWAY**** (if you don't want to be ridiculed)I called in the AM re a flat tire on our vehicle. I asked how long...Randy said about 45 mins. We got there and dropped the car with an employee...and went for a walk as he said an hour to wait. We got back about 45 mins later and Randy comes out...exclaiming to all that our vehicle repair was expedited (we never asked for that!). We were appreciative and then came to the desk to pay. I started some light banter with Randy, as did my wife, in explaining why we came in...and relating that we had a similar incident in December. The topic of whether or not it was the same tire came into play...and how this puncture came about. My wife and I then felt as though we were at the other end of an inquisition...or at least on Jeopardy! Randy kept at us saying..."are you asking a question...or stating something"...and when my wife mentioned the bridge in our area and the truck traffic across it, he launched into a soliloquy about how people blame others for flat tires when no one really knows how they occur. All with a somewhat condescending demeanor and tone. My wife was getting uncomfortable...and I was getting a bit miffed...but we held it together. To top things off...he asked how to settle the bill...and I took out my AMEX card. He said NO...no AMEX. And then he proceeded to intimate that AMEX was reserved for "older" people...he hardly ever saw anyone in their 20's with one...unless they were try to show off (or something to that extent)...sheeeeeeeeeeesh! I kept my cool and simply asked why no AMEX...and mentioned that I as a business owner of 30+ years myself never understand why not. He mentioned...FEES...it's EXPENSIVE. I replied..."use Square...it's 2.9%" and he said "too much". 'Nuff said....I just took my Visa card and inserted into the reader...realizing then I couldn't remember the PIN (my AX is always inserted as the tap doesn't work...so it's 2nd nature for me)...and he said to just tap the Visa, as if I didn't know that was an option! I did that...took my keys and receipt...and left! When I got in the car and reviewed the receipt...there was a 1% SURCHARGE for the use of the credit card!!!! Granted...less than a $1....but...there was NO MENTION or NO SIGN indicating that a surcharge was to be placed on the final bill for use of a credit card. UNSCRUPULOUS BUSINESS PRACTICE...SHAMEFUL!! Randy....you got my tire fixed...but darned if I will ever be back...or if I will ever recommend your shop to anyone. In fact, I think I will report this all to Big O head office and at least let them know what one of their franchisees is doing.Regards!

Spoke to a guy over the phone called Randy from Big O Tires in Kingsway. Mentioned that I was looking to replace my car's existing tires (as I was told during a recent service inspection that the tread depth of the tires were at around 40-50%). I asked him a couple of short questions and to my surprise he told me that 'I am allowed to ask one more question' and 'it better be quick' as he had another customer waiting. What? Really? All he had to say was 'Can you please call me back in 10-15 minutes as I have another customer waiting' or 'Can I call you back later?'..but no, he decided to be offensive! I could also hear him sniggering like a little child with the other customer in the background as I hastily asked my third question. Admiteddly I know little about tires. What does it take to simply be polite and professional with a customer!! First time I've come across a situation where someone running a business insults a customer who is simply asking a few short questions about a product and service that he or she is selling! The next day I bought 4 tires for $1300 from a tire store in Burnaby after speaking to the person there who had the aptitude and pleasant manner to be able to clarify a couple of concerns I had about the kind of tires I needed and that took 2-3 minutes of his time! If you don't know how talk to customers, then please don't talk to customers and certainly don't insult their intelligence! Better still don't run a business!! Spoke to several other tire shops afterwards and they were ALL professional, courteous and helpful and this guy was definitely the exception. Avoid this place, especially if you don't want to be talked down at! Looking back at other reviews, he'll probably say that he has excellent customer feedback but the man is delusional and has issues! The 3.7 rating speaks volumes! Avoid this place!! Gave 1 star because I can't give a 0!

Not at all surprised by the reviews complaining about this guy’s behaviour.I went in with a flat today around 11 am on a gloomy non busy Monday morning. I park beside his workshop leaving enough space for any vehicle to go in/out. Staff comes and asks me to move my car when I was already out, I said I’ll move it just allow me a couple minutes.I went in and asked “hello sir I won’t take much of your time, someone took air outta my front tire cuz they were not happy that i parked in their spot, can I please ask you to pump some air in the car’s tire”.He goes “this is not an air pumping place we fix tires. So if you want me to see what’s wrong with your car’s tire, I can do that.”We proceeded to my car, i was about to sit and move it, but he says something so I get closer and he goes “you can’t expect me to do you any favours if you’re not obeying what this property is asking of you, you shouldn’t have parked here when my staff asked u not to”. I humbly apologized again.I’ll just leave it here for y’all to decide if you’d like to be talked like that. I don’t like such passive aggressive tones and would never step into such a place with so much negative energy.PS: There was a chevron a few hundred meters away. Paid $2, got some air and I was on my way.

As with the other 1 star reviews, can confirm from direct experience this owner Randy is dishonest. In fact, can't believe our mechanic sent our vehicle over here - we ripped into him for this and hopefully he never sends anyone here again.----EDIT: Seem to have gotten a response from the owner and consistent with our interaction with him - seems like there is some incoherent rambling of which I have no idea what he's talking about. Pretty consistent with the other negative reviews and responses.

Great staff top to bottom. Professional service with top notch experienced master mechanics. For minor quick repairs they did not charge me for an entire hours labour, unlike their competitors and the dealership. They inspected the rest of the undercarriage n/c, and showed me what will need attention in the near future. I did not have to leave the vehicle all day either. I made an appt. was told it would take up to an hour max and 45 minutes later, I was out the door and on my way.

Midas turned me away when I brought in a tire with a nail puncture near the side wall. They told me I had to buy two new tires and wait a few days for delivery & install. I called Randy and the team and they had me rolling again in 3 hours. Specialized service means a marginally higher price than your average patch kit repair — a lot cheaper than paying for two brand new tires. Thanks Big O Kingsway.

Took my car for alignment and came back the next day as there was some pulling to the right. They claim it is not alignment problem but tires. Asked for a solution and how much would it cost me if i let them fix the problem. Randy took too much time talking and talking without getting to the point. Boy he can talk a lot!! I just left shaking my head.Edit:Ok, here is my another edit for this review. First off, to be fair i still believe that you do great wheel alignment job. I never mentioned that the pulling on my car was because of the alignment job. When you said it was my tires that was causing the pulling, i asked how much would it cost me to have the problem fixed. I never said i was holding you or your shop responsible for the tire install that is causing the problem. I did not contest that fact since i believe you are the experts in this dept. The fact that i asked how much it would cost me to have the problem sorted out at your shop means i value my time more than anything else and would not want to go back to where i got my tires from. You should have taken the hint that im giving you the opportunity to do business with me for the services i was asking. Instead, you talked and talked a lot without getting to the point on the information i wanted. You could have simply replied, for a start we could try swapping the tires and see if the problem persist and it will cost this $$ amount.I also lost respect when you started calling people "dumb". You need to be more professional in dealing with your customers. Since you have a cctv in your shop, why dont you look back and review the footage of what transpired and the actual conversation we had. Perhaps it will give you a bit of insight of what actually was wrong. So again, i would say your services for wheel alignment is excellent, but sorry to say your customer service suck. I read through some previous negative comments as well here and i could say that it holds true as i have personally seen it myself.
